About Schulzie Roland
I am a generational New Orleanian and the French side of my family has been in this amazing city for almost 300 years as part of the Founding Fathers of New Orleans. I love this city and its unique characteristics and care about your experience; I want you to have an amazing time in New Orleans; I genuinely care!... and I assure you this property can help facilitate that, the rest is up to you.
Schulzie Roland purchased this Apartment in 2004
Why Schulzie Roland chose Uptown
The property was built in 1875 after the Civil War and has only change ownership 5 times in that time period. It boasts 14 ft ceilings, hard wood floors, amazing outdoor spaces, beautiful landscaping, modern day luxuries, and an absolutely brilliant location.
What makes this Apartment unique
The home is decorated to the period of the late 1800s with French and English antiques, but combines that respect for the era with the need for modern day luxuries, technology, and comforts. She is the perfect cocktail.

Loved our stay ! The house was the location for bridesmaids to stay and to take pre pictures for my daughters wedding at St Mary's and reception at Il marcato !! Perfect Wonderful weekend !
Fantastic location. Great house- perfect for a group of friends or family.
Schulzie was awesome. We had everything we needed. The house is beautiful and in a fantastic location. Perfect for hanging out with friends and having a cocktail on the front porch, watching the street cars go by, and waving back to all the jealous people whizzing by. Close to great food, cocktails, and coffee in garden district and uptown but still easy to get to the quarter. Just hop on the street car. Would definitely stay here again!
This is a beautiful historic home, very spacious. We had a wonderful stay here.
This house is absolutely GORGEOUS and perfect for any vacation or get away. My husbands family and my family all stayed there for the weekend of our wedding, and it made everything so easy! The day of boys got ready in the apartment upstairs and girls downstairs, it made for amazing pictures and is large enough for everyone to be comfortable. It Is also right on the streetcar line and just a ride away from majority of New Orleans! Absolutely LOVED our stay here! Perfect for families or a friend get together!
Would definitely recommend this property! It had all the amenities and more. Beds were comfy and warm ambiance.
Experience the Garden District, properly...
The most sublime historic district in New Orleans is best appreciated from a venue that transports you to a previous century. Proper period fixtures and decor abound, yet the environmental mechanics, baths, AC, and kitchen are current. The kitchen is fully equipped, and was stocked for morning tea or coffee. Eschew Uber and wait a few minutes for the streetcar—French Quarter to Audoban Park and in between, are accessible. You can walk to the fabulous Upperline restaurant, a few local bars, and a compact grocer. Schultzie, the caretaker, is welcoming and available. Perfect, a five star spot.
