About Paul/Sherry Keefer

Paul and Sherry retired to Charleston from Richmond, VA in 2014. This is our primary residence which we make available for rental during our periods of extended travel. Paul had a career with Philip Morris and is a retired Navy Captain (Reserves). Sherry was a public school elementary librarian.

Paul/Sherry Keefer purchased this condo in 2012

Why Paul/Sherry Keefer chose South of Broad

Wanting to retire near the water, Charleston was an easy pick. A popular and attractive setting to welcome family and friends, this city deserves it's reputation as a great place to live more so than just visit. In addition, as a military retiree, the Charleston Air Force Base provides us the opportunity to travel the world on Space Available flights.

What makes this condo unique

Our historic downtown neighborhood, South of Broad, is in the lower peninsula, the most well known and visited area of the city. We live on the western side where the homes are not the grand mansions the eastern side, but still quite lovely. Our area boasts two parks with tennis courts, a dog park, ball fields and Colonial Lake. This lake park is exceptionally peaceful, beloved by all nearby residents. We get very little tourist traffic, so our spaces are much more quiet, relaxing and private.
