We're Dan & Barbara Schilling from Birmingham, Alabama. We own two, gulf-front condos at Panama City Beach. You are looking at our 2 Bedroom / 2 Bath condo at Emerald Isle and we also have a 3 Bedroom / 3 Bath condo at Sterling Reef. We hope that you love our clean, contemporary style at both condos and our huge, gulf-front balconies. It's like sitting on a cruise ship! They are our homes away from home and we know that you will feel the same way the first time you stay at either of our vacation condos.

Why Dan Schilling chose Florida

Panama City Beach is so much fun! There are so many things to do and you can't beat the road system. Too many other areas on the gulf have huge traffic jams in the summer and we just hate to sit in traffic when we should be having fun! We are located only one and half miles west of the all-new Pier Park Mall with loads of restaurants, shopping and entertainment.

What makes this condo unique

Emerald Isle is a small building on the quiet west end of the beach. We have everything that the other resorts have without the huge crowds of people. It's kind of a unique building since we also have the highest rate of owners living there year-round. That means that we have a strong homeowners association to make sure that things are well maintained. It's probably why our resort is Ranked #1 compared to more than 80 other resorts on the beach.

Very nice property, right on the beach.

Emerald Isle is a nice complex. The view is great with the rounded out balcony. Parking is tight and cost $20.00. I would recommend bundling it into the rental cost. All the personnel that work at Emerald Isle we're extremely nice. It was nice to seen security wondering around. We rented unit 805 and a very pleasant experience dealing with Mr. Dan Schilling. He answered questions and emails promptly. His unit is very nice. It was nice hang a restaurant directly across the street from the complex. Mike's Oyster Bar and Grill has good food. We also enjoyed our meals at Salty Sue's and Angelo's. Great service by the beach service, Lloyd and his sons were eager to help.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! The reason that the office collects the one-time charge of $20 for a parking pass for your stay and facility bracelets for everyone in your party is that it gives them a chance to meet the guests. They are very strict about a maximum of 6 people staying in a condo and that everyone in your party must be at least 25 or accompanied by a parent or guardian. This one extra step helps to eliminate many problems and keeps our resort more family friendly. It's also probably one of the reasons that Trip Advisor just announced that Emerald Isle Resort has been awarded the Panama City Beach Florida "Certificate of Excellence Award” for the 5th consecutive year!

Awesome Week at the Beach

We just returned from a wonderful week. We have stayed at this condo for a few years on our beach vacation, it's always clean and comfy. The balcony is extra large and the views are simply breath taking, we could spend weeks just sitting out there. The condo is convenient to everything. We plan on going back for many years to come

Great condo!

We loved staying in this condo last week. The condo is super clean, neat, and has everything needed for a vacation. We never turned on a TV, so I can't comment on the technology, but there are large TVs available. The balcony is everything! It is larger than a standard balcony, with a dining table for four, plus two lounge chairs. It is a quick walk to the beach, with the elevators just outside the condo door. We will return.....thank you!
