About Bradley Flanagan
A former entertainment industry executive Brad has been entertaining and accommodating guests and clients for over 25 years. Brad lives on the property in the guest house with Sofia, a 6-year old puggle. Brad grew up in San Diego, has lived in Los Angeles, New York and Rome and is now making the Big Island his home.
Bradley Flanagan purchased this House in 2015
Why Bradley Flanagan chose Hawaiian Paradise Park
The Big Island and Puna specifically is a magical place. After traveling the globe and visiting Hawaii for over 40 years I chose Puna because it represents Old Hawaii, isn't filled with high rises, is far away from the "madding crowd", and is an ideal base for adventures, relaxation, or to get away it all. Come relax in a tropical paradise in this rural tropical setting.
What makes this House unique
Having the owner on the property is a big benefit. Although completely private, Brad is available to guests to answer any questions, remedy any house problems, and provide guests ongoing advice on adventures, restaurants, stores, beaches, and hikes on the Big Island.

Awesome property and manager
We used this property as our home base to explore the east side of the island. It was clean and we prepared. Bradley provided many great tips and suggestions
Great location, great property
Loved our time on the Big Island. House and host were terrific. Definitely recommend staying here.
Nice, cozy house in the country
We had a nice stay here, though the weather didn't cooperate, but nothing anyone can do about that. The house is in the country and surrounded by beautiful vegetation and trees. The house is well-equipped with everything we needed to cook in the kitchen; boogie boards and beach equipment are also available. The roosters next-door were a little loud, but Brad has ear plugs to use. Beds were nice and comfortable. Brad also had fresh fruit, coffee and snacks for our arrival. He also responded quickly if we needed something.
There is one bedroom and a loft above with another bed. The bathroom door also has slats. This might bother people if they feel they don't have enough privacy, but my wife and I stayed there with my brother and we had no problems at all.
The living room is cozy with comfortable bamboo furniture. There is a nice lanai with a grill, table and chairs. The wi-fi worked great as well.
The house is located near the highway going to Volcano Nat'l Park, so that is convenient. The coast south of here is also very beautiful. There are a couple small towns not too far away where you can buy groceries or a meal.
We would recommend this house to others as it was a beautiful location and Brad treated us great.
Bradley is an awesome host!
The owner, the place....everything was great, it had everything we needed during our stay here! I would recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet place to stay. Mahalo nūnui e Brad😊.
Loved the place.
Brad was an excellent host, extremely helpful, and he went out of his way to make sure we had a good stay. The house was exactly as described, it's well equipped, and centrally located. The roosters take some getting used to, but you are in the country...and you can't beat all the fresh fruit right in your front yard.
Very relaxed and comfortable!
Yes, there are roosters, and the evening coqui frogs make a lovely racket - otherwise this is a very relaxing and tranquil home with a gracious and informed host. Thank you Bradley for sharing your guest house and surrounds. We especially enjoyed the fresh oranges and juice every morning!
We would love to come back someday soon, as we didn't get time to see all the amazing places on the east side of the Big Island. Spectacular part of our world!
Tropical hideaway 4 miles from the ocean, 15 minutes from the airport, 20 minutes up to hill to Volcanos National Park, and 20 minutes to the "clothing optional" black sand beach. 1 acre of tropical splendor with owner onsite.
