A great cottage for a couple near Shenandoah!
My husband and I took a short trip to Shenandoah National Park for the first time, and the Carriage House Studio was more than what we expected. It was clean and cozy. Alton made sure we were comfortable without being intrusive which we greatly appreciated. We will book the cottage when we come visit the area, again.
Beautiful and just what the doctor ordered!
We loved the carriage house! Everything was very well designed and appointed to make this cozy space into a super-efficient and relaxing getaway for 2 people! We also loved the very friendly barn kitties and mini ponies! The on-site trails were a major plus as well. We will definitely be returning!
Lovely Weekend Stay in the beautiful Virginia countryside
Each October I search for a location to take my husband away for the weekend to celebrate his birthday. This year's selection was a winner on many levels - location, amenities, privacy to name a few. The Carriage House has everything one needs for a relaxing stay and such natural beauty to enjoy. We visited Massanutten for a fall festival on Saturday and enjoyed the drive to and from, the fall colors just beginning to pop. Thanks to our host for providing such a gem!
Great Location. Beautiful Property.
Charming cottage close to Skyline Drive, the National Park and lovely wineries.
Wonderful weekend getaway
We stayed at the Carriage House studio cottage during our Memorial Day weekend trip. The cottage was just the right size for the two of us. The mahogany bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, coffeepot, etc. There was room in the kitchen for the two of us to move around comfortably. A window over the kitchen sink provided views of the rolling hills of Virginia and the Angus cattle grazing quietly. We met the cute miniature horses and a couple of friendly outdoor cats during our walks. The farm is lovely. We plan to return in the fall to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
Tasteful studio cottage on heavenly property
This property was breathtaking with views of the mountains, fields of happily grazing cows and an historic manor house. The owner is kind and accommodating , and was able to offer recommendations for local services. The cottage itself is bigger than I expected. Very comfortable bed, nice kitchen and views of miniature horses out the windows. Absolutely peaceful. Adorable cats come to visit. Hiking available on the property.
