Our family loves this place!!
Nice large condo on the boardwalk. The location is great, the surroundings are great. We have a teenager and a 5 year old and this place accommodates both well. It is close enough for an easy stroll to the busy sections of the boardwalk but far enough away to get that peaceful beach atmosphere. I only moved my vehicle twice to drop in to the local crossfit gym... other than that, we pretty much walked everywhere! We hope to be back next year!!

We had a great visit again at the Nancy Claire. The only thing I would like different there would be maybe shampoo the carpets and furniture sometimes,Stains on them visitors obviously don't care because it isn't their place! But will definitely be back! The owner is also very responsive when emailed.

I am very disappointed to hear that there is a stain on it. The condo has been rented by guests for every week since April and we have not had time to schedule a shampoo service since April for the carpet. The unit is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after each guest’s stay. I was unaware of the issue but will now try to find a shampoo company to come at the end of this week. We stayed at the Nancy Clair the second week of July. It is a great location and a nicely remodled and furnished rental. However, during our stay the TV only had one working channel, the internet didn't work 90% of the time, the spout in the shower came off and the dryer didn't work.
We were told by the cable tech that there was no internet or cable set up for this unit, which meant the owner used another units cable/internet. We were told by the owner that the TV and internet was indeed working it just wasn't meeting our standards. I don't consider one channel and the internet not working 90% of the time as high standards. The TV is also a smart TV, so working internet is sort of a must.
The spout on the bathtub/shower was not connected to the wall. My husband was able to easily pull it off the wall. We have three year old twins so this was a safety hazard. The owner did send a plumber to fix it, but then we were blamed for it saying that it was knocked off the wall. It wasn't knocked off, it was never attached to the wall properly.
Worst of all, the dryer never worked. The tech that came to fix the dryer said it was a fire hazard and that he would be back the next day to fix it... He never came back, so we wern't able to do laundry our entire stay. We traveled from the West Coast to visit Ocean City and we packed light thinking we would be able to do laundry during our stay. With three adults and two toddlers it was a nightmare not having working laundry in the unit.
Due to the high cost of this rental and being without important advertised amenities, we asked for a very small refund ($300). We told the owner that we not only had to deal with loss of amenities, we had to deal with three technicians coming in and out of the unit distrupting our vacation. The owner apoligized, but then told us that we should be thankful that we had such great weather and were able to stay on a historic block on the Ocean City Boardwalk. Obviously his comment was completely irrelavent and had nothing to do with the loss of amenities and refund requested. My last two emails to the owner went unanswered and I never received my requested $300 refund. Also, as other reviewers have said, it could have been cleaned better. I will not stay at this rental again, which is a shame since my family has rented the Nancy Clair and Virginia Lee since the early 80s when it was owned by the Hanna Family.

Really great location on the boardwalk!
My husband and I stayed here early in the season, and because we were the first ones staying here in awhile, there was a decent amount of cleaning/airing out we had to do. It would have been great if it was cleaned before we got there, but once it was clean and we were settled in this was a really nice place to stay. Very comfortable, and a fantastic location.
