Not what is advertised
This apartment was not as advertised on VRBO. The stove didn’t work, there is no generator for when the blackouts happen (which I know happens I have stayed on the island multiple times. There were many roaches. Owner was not receptive to our concerns.
It is unfortunate that you feel it necessary to spread vicious LIES such as this concerning our beautiful and tranquil Hideaway.
Question: Which person deliberately sabotages their own business? What you are suggesting sounds asinine.
First we invite you into our home, then we set it up for our guest never to return? WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND DOES THIS?
Yes our lights went out as did everyone else’s on the ENTIRE island. Island wide black out, as the generators for the entire island only recently were being changed. We never put in our amenities that we have a back up generator.
You were upset because of this. But of course, only commented on this several hours before your departure of a four day stay. We were in constant communication with the client during the blackouts. There were never any of these victriolic statements. As there were only 2 blackouts, lasting for approximately 3-5 hours.
Kinda similar to the guy who puts the roach in his meal after it’s done to get it free.
Literally, this client has become that roach placing guy. There have never been any complaints from any of our many guests. Upon the day of his departure, our team inspected the premises and found no cockroaches. Additionally, we had an independent exterminator company inspect the place and found not a singular roach.
The term used was “infestation”. This flaggerant use of the English language to support your devicive narrative is unfortunate. And now it’s bordering on legal issues, as the inspector nor my team neither any previous guest have found this to have any evidence of the same. Simply put. It’s A LIE! Additionally, in our conversations with this client he was very rude, abusive, deceptive and disrespectful. His language was so obtrusive that I refuse to repeat. Clearly his only concern was a refund. It’s unfortunate that we have found ourselves in this position where a client is maligning our business model. Hopefully other rentals will be wary of allowing him into their homes.
With regards to the stove it is functional with the exception of a few burners. Additionally, the minor issues with the stove was outlined in the welcome letter. Also we provided a back up portable stove with instructions as to how to use it. When the client was asked why he did not use the stove. He could not answer. This let us know that he had no intentions of using the stove. The stove is in process of being replaced. And this was indicated in the welcome letter.
