About this property

So there's this place out in the county where the birds sing and the bees buzz and the children laugh and play! The pool is warm and the cottages are cool! The dock where you can fish, relax, park your boat or jump off is waiting for you! We are open year round.
A large one bedroom cottage with a stunning view of Bull Shoals Lake. Fully Furnished down to the coffee pot! Just bring your food, beach towel and perhaps your boat. . A whirlpool tub is just one of the items here to help you relax. Home made soap made by the owner. A free boat slip is included in your rental. So go fishing, water skiing, scuba diving or just go jump in the lake. Oh and we have a pool with a view located on the hillside. ( Memorial Day to Labor Day) please ask if the weather is nice we leave it open longer. BBQ right beside your deck and a picnic table so you can enjoy the view of Bull Shoals while you eat.
Please keep in mind you are in the great outdoors. Along with the beauty come creepy crawly things like chiggers, ticks, snakes, wasps and flies. Bringing some bug spray along helps as well as keeping doors closed at all times. You may see some deer, turkey's, armadillos, since we are in the woods a bear or coyote and other predictors may be near so use caution.
The Dock!
Included in your rental is a slip in our 6 stall dock. The stalls measure 10x20. There is electric to plug in your toys, a ladder to help you back up if you choose to jump in. Please note the following.
The army core of engineers controls our lake level. At time you can drive the 250 yards from the resort and park and walk right onto the dock. If the levels are high you will need to hike down the trail. Both ways are walkable but are steep and a rocky incline. So use caution. At times of high water an alternative boat launch will be needed. There is no sandy beach it is a rocky area. You will find boating and fishing rules in each cottage and agree to follow all rules.
We have 2 game cameras on the dock!!! There is NO lifeguard at either the dock or pool you agree to use at your own risk. Owners are not liable or stolen or damaged properly.

Labor day relaxation

Beautiful view of Bull Shoals lake from cabin #1! Peaceful evenings looking over a quiet part of the lake from our front porch with our dogs by our side. Well lit outside cabins for early morning potty breaks as the area is very dog friendly! Charlie and Patti are super host! When they found we had arrived early and was passing time at the included dock, Charlie welcomed us on in without hesitation. Very peaceful hill top with plenty of places to walk and enjoy nature. Access to lake a little rocky as expected for Bull Shoals. We were unloaded and on the water with our kayaks minutes from the front door. Our 2 dogs had plenty of lake front to explore with us and the area of location is off the beaten path of busy boat traffic. We felt very safe floating on a labor day weekend! Impressive!! Thank you Patti for the yummy smelling home made soap! What a treat! We will send friends your way

Awesome Cottage!!!

We stayed in Cottage #1. It has a great view of the lake with outdoor seating to sit on the porch. Cottage is well furnished and has everything that you need to enjoy your stay. We loved the location!! Away from everything!! Made for a very relaxing week. The boat slip was PERFECT!! That made the "sell" for us. We were able to bring our boat, dock it at the slip all week. No worries about getting it in and out of the water every day. The lake was awesome! You are a 3 minute boat ride from the damn! This area of the lake is not busy at all! Very few times did we go out and have to deal woth other boaters. A couple here and there, but nothing like the major put in boat launches around. We didn't get a chance to hang out in the pool, but I did check it out. Very well maintained and perfect for kiddos or adults alike. The owneres, Charlie and Patti, were amazing. Cottage #1 is right next to their residence, but that was not an issue at all. We felt very "private." They left us alone to do our thing, but were right there if we would have needed them. We highly recommend North Shore Resort if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and just check out for a few days! We will be returning, so keep Cottage #1 open for us! ;)
