Our home is vintage 1932, and full of historical charm. With white walls, wood floors, a mix of contemporary and antique, Pendleton wool blankets and down comforters, Room&Board furnishings, a gift of locally crafted beer & Missoula roasted french press coffee, 70 inch TV, Sonos & and high speed internet, a location just steps from the University (3 blocks) & Downtown Missoula (5 blocks), we welcome you to our home!

The house is approximately 1900 square feet of living space and has three levels: main floor, second story & basement level. The second story has two bedrooms (king & queen beds respectively) and a shared bath. The living room - with working fireplace, dining room and kitchen are located on the main floor. The basement was remodeled in 2008 and has a large family/tv room, bathroom, laundry and third bedroom (full bed). Wireless DSL, 70 inch TV with Apple TV and HBO Now, Sonos sounds system. Locally made organic shampoo & rinse, with essential oils, and organic handmade lanolin soap are provided.
Pleasant backyard has a trex deck leading from french doors off of dining room. Small yard and gas BBQ.
Two off street parking spaces.
We do welcome families with small children, although please keep in mind that there are two staircases in the home and a real fire place. We want everyone to be safe. We also have some high end furniture, and hope your children are respectful of our home and its contents.
Guests will have access to the entire property.
Check-in is 3 p.m. Check-out is 11 a.m.
We will have local coffee/french press for you to use and locally brewed Montana beer as our welcome gift to you.
Interaction is minimal as we do not want to intrude. But we are available at all times to assist with the house or offer advice on local activities and places to patronize.
Please be in touch immediately if there is any issue with the home, or if something is not satisfactory. We would like to correct any problem as soon as possible.
The house is a non-smoking property. Please let us know if there is a smoker in the party and we will be happy to provide ash trays for the deck. We do have a well-behaved Golden Retriever. While you will not see any evidence of a dog in the house, if there is someone with a dog allergy, this may not be the best match. We are also willing to consider your pet in the home for a visit.
We have clear, easy-to-follow rules and instructions for all you'll need to enjoy your stay at the house.
Children are welcome, but please note that there are two stair cases in our home, and a real working fire place. We also have some high-end furniture and appreciate the respect of your children toward our home and its contents!
There are two spaces to park (end-to-end) in front of garage. Street parking is usually easy to find on weekends, evenings & and in the summertime. It can be a bit more tricky during University class time hours, but not impossible at all.
Guests of yours are welcome to visit during your stay, but please no parties. Be respectful of the neighbors! Essentially treat our home like you would yours.
It's beautiful and quiet and great for walks. The University of Montana is three blocks away. The river and downtown are five blocks - Missoula is great for walking with wonderful breweries, coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques, theater and the Art Museum.
Missoula is easy to navigate. And the location of this house is perfect for walking or biking to all local attractions. Missoula International Airport is 15 minutes away. We have a list of local attractions, restaurants, bars, museums, galleries & and events.
