Best Place to Stay in New Orleans!
We are frequent visitors to NOLA and we stay here every chance we get. As soon as we open the door we feel like we’re home. We always have everything we need and more. The location is perfect - not far from all the great things the city has to offer, yet in a quiet neighborhood with private parking right by the front door. Who could ask for more?
Susan and her family have stayed with us numerous times. They take care of our place as if it were theirs. We are always pleased to have them back because they are the best kind of guest any host would love to have, and they are a great fit for our uptown neighborhood!
Great property centrally located and very inviting !
This place is a gem to find around New Orleans. Just far enough from the city and close enough to enjoy it . Tony and Corrine were wonderful hosts. Responded quickly to all of our inquiries . Had a bottle of wine, music playing, snacks and a thank you card. All the small things , even the welcome Y’all napkin as we walked in were perfect little touches that go a long long way when staying out of town. We will definitely be trying to stay here again on our next trip to NOLA!
Would love to stay again!
My husband and I loved this apartment! We were greeted with a bottle of wine, beads, and a bottle of Louisiana hot sauce. We made the trip for my 40th birthday and Corrine even hand wrote a little birthday card for me as well! They even had stocked some snacks, bottled water in the fridge, coffee and some fresh muffins from the Fresh Market. They were delicious!
Everything was as described and very nicely decorated. They had everything you would need: shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, hair straightener, soaps...many toiletries to chose from!
The bedroom has a huge double closet, hamper, extra sheets and blankets, plenty of towels and two suitcase racks. The mattress and pillows were so comfortable, made leaving in the morning to sightsee hard to do!
The apartment is a short walk to the St. Charles streetcar and we bought two 3 day passes for only $9.50 each as this gives you unlimited rides. There are many places to eat on the street car line so hopping on and off was a breeze.
Corrine also checked up on us when we arrived and as we were leaving one night for dinner, she stopped and recommended a few places. There is also Riccobonos Cafe a few blocks away that we had breakfast at two days, it was delicious and very inexpensive.
We loved every minute of our stay and already planning another trip back to the Big Easy!
Peaceful Retreat in New Orleans
The photos don't do this property justice. It is spotlessly clean, comfortable, attractively furnished, and in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. All the needed amenities were included plus some thoughtful touches such as a loaf of blueberry bread and a bag of coffee. We really enjoyed our stay at Perfect Pied-A-Terre!
