I have lived in Alaska for ten years now and in the Denali area for eight years. I was brought up here with the Air Force and now work for the Air National Guard. I enjoy hiking, camping, hunting, fishing and am passionate about flying. I also enjoy muscle cars. I am a dad of three great kids who live with me and keep me busy as a single dad.

We arrived late, it was around midnight. We were all cold from our day trip on the Denali bus, it was rainy and dark. We were all so worried it was going to be cold, since we were all from warm places and it was like 40 degrees out.
we were traveling with our 83 year old mother and concerned about it being dark. He left a light on for us and when we walked in the beds were made up and very nice in warm.
I would recommend everyone to stay there. It added to our Alaska adventure.

Close to Denali, nicely decorated. Basement apmt , with only 2 windows and heard nosies from above, just like a hotel could be. Loved the owners recommendation of Fly Denali to land on a glacier. Newer local grocery store had fresh salad and spaghetti stuff we made in kitchen 1 night. Had great fish-n-chips, salmon and yak burgers at 49th State Brewery in Healy. Many hiking options in Ntln park were great, as well as sled dog demos.

Very clean home and friendly owners. We got a warm welcome and felt like a home. My kids had a lot of fun running around trigger, Kodi (friendly dogs) and chickens. They enjoyed the swing on a tree. And Joseph was very accommodative. My family and my extended family had a lot of fun with walking around the neighborhood.
Joseph and his Mom are a great host, I definitely recommend this apartment.

This comfortable vacation rental is located just outside of the small town of Healy and is a short 15 minute drive from Denali national park. The apartment is adjoined to a home located on a private grass runway where there are trails close by. Denali offers a wide range of activities. Enjoy taking a whitewater rafting trip, hiking trails in or out of Denali. Take a guided bus trip through Deanli and enjoy the majestic mountain vistas. There are opportunities for both road biking and mountain biking. Try your luck with fly fishing the various little streams in the area. You can take a flight seeing tour of Denali and land on a glacier. If you're a golfer, Healy has a golf course. There are ample opportunities for photography of scenery and wildlife that frequent the Denali area with moose, fox, wolves, bear, coyotes, caribou, Dall Sheep, and a variety of birds. You can take jeep safari tours, ATV tours, or go explore and do your own thing. Hiking, camping, mountaineering, there's something for everyone whether you are an extreme outdoors person or just looking for a relaxing experience in God's country. There are a variety of quality restaurants and diners in the area.
