This Seattle area rental home is in a perfect location on the East side in Sammamish, Wa. for your vacation. You are minutes to Redmond Town Center, Whole Foods, shopping, dining, and Marymoor park. You will have easy access to freeways to explore Seattle and beyond. Take a short walk across the street to the East Lake Sammamish trail system and beautiful Lake Sammamish. Enjoy relaxing at our private community beach on Lake Sammamish for swimming, sunbathing and use of our canoe. Walk or take our three bicycles on a trail ride along miles of connecting trail systems. When you return, you will be able to relax at your quiet Mid Century home nestled against a serene and private forested back yard and seasonal stream. Privacy, comfort and quality furnishings make our home a great choice for your vacation.

This bright and spacious, 2000 Square foot home is decorated with quality Mid Century Modern design touches and many original furniture pieces and accessories from the 1960s. The house has a hidden wet bar appointed with glassware, a mini fridge and a large back patio to enjoy the quiet surroundings with a glass of wine. The house has a classic Mid Century open floor plan with new hardwood floors, large 65 inch flat screen TV, gas fireplace and a private office. You will enjoy the large en suite master bedroom and bathroom with queen bed, electric fireplace, flat screen TV, large closets and beautiful lake sunset views. There are two additional bedrooms; one with a full bed and one queen and a second full bath. The kitchen has a new gas range, stainless refrigerator, new quartz counters and bar seating. There is a laundry room with sink and full sized washer and dryer. The home is beautifully landscaped with a seasonal stream that invites wildlife and birds to visit.
This "Mad Men" style home is immaculately clean and meticulously maintained and has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
* If you or your guests smoke, please choose another accommodation. No smoking inside or outside or anywhere on the property.
* No long term or month to month rentals.
* Registered guests only are allowed on the property; no day visitors without permission at time of booking please. We do not accommodate large get togethers.
* Maximum occupancy at all times is 6.
* Primary renter must be 25 or older.
* This home is accessed by two sets of cement stairs to the front door, so may be difficult for guests who have trouble with stairs.
* We have a strict NO SMOKING and NO PETS policy for this allergy free completely remodeled home.
* No photos shoots allowed anywhere on our property.
* Weekly or bi weekly cleaning service available for additional cost.
* Recycling and composting are part of our lifestyle here in the Pacific NW and we kindly ask guests to use containers provided to sort recyclables and green waste.
The home has a private backyard with a large patio and a seasonal stream. The front of the house has another patio and bistro set that looks out over the garden. The master bedroom has a balcony that has partial Lake views and you can see gorgeous sunsets from the front of the house. Our guests have access to a community beach on Lake Sammamish across the street and a short three minute walk down the newly built East Lake Sammamish paved trail system. We have a canoe and life jackets (required) there for guests to use.
We live next door to this house. We would like to meet you at check in to show you around after which we will respect your privacy. We do come up to retrieve the weeks garbage and recycling and to maintain the yard and water recent plantings, but will always contact your first. We are here for our guests and accessible at all times if needed.

About Julia Creighton
My husband and I are long time Washingtonians. I have lived here since I was nine. We have raised our family here and love the natural beauty of our area. We recently bought and remodeled our beautiful Mid Century Modern 1964 home and decided to list it as a furnished executive rental. However, you do not need to be an executive to stay here! We live just next door to our rental home so it's convenient for you as well as us. We are a family of artists and my husband John and I both have Etsy shops. I like to ride my horse and John likes to fish. A little more about me; in my past working life, I worked higher end retail and was assistant manager to a luxury retail brand. I also worked in a small Luxury hotel on First Avenue in downtown Seattle, and bring to my small business a professional customer service oriented view point. I love hosting folks from all over the world and I hope you will book a stay with us as well. I know you will enjoy visiting the Seattle area!

We stayed at Julia & John’s home to attend our daughters wedding. They are very accommodating & hospitable! Their home is BEAUTIFUL and EXTREMELY clean with MANY extra touches that made our stay not only very comfortable but also luxurious! The house was supplied with everything we needed and then some!! They were very easy to work & communicate with which helped reduce any added stress that comes with weddings! They were fantastic hosts!! Our family appreciated the location being near many restaurants and shopping as well as their quiet serene private beach where we watched the sunset! We highly recommend staying in this beautiful home:)

Cool, stylish retro 60's home.
Warm, clean and comfortable reto 60's home with all the modern conveniences needed. Close to Seattle downtown, but far enough to enjoy some quiet. Wonderfully renovated, with a great gas fireplace as the centerpiece to the open concept design. And having a separate office space was perfect to do a little work. The owners are close by and we're very attentive to all our needs. A great place for a getaway.

All the comforts of home!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Julia & John's home. Their home is very comfortable and welcoming. There was attention paid to every detail and Julia was a wonderful hostess. She was very responsive and very accommodating regarding a payment matter, and stayed up extra late to meet us when our plane was delayed an hour.
The house location was perfect for visiting Rainier, Cascades, and Olympic National Parks, as well as Snoqualmie Falls and downtown Seattle. It is just far enough away from Seattle to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, but close enough to get there in a fair amount of time.
We would definitely stay here again on a return trip to Seattle!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and fully quipped and nicely furnished. Beach, bike path, canoe all contributed to outside activities. It is located in a very nice area, easy to get to Seattle, Bellevue and Redmond, yet quite and private. Highly recommended.

This furnished rental home is just a few miles from Marymoor Park, Whole Foods Market, Redmond Town Center Mall, grocery shopping, library, dining and freeways to Seattle and beyond. We are close to Microsoft, the University of Washington, Bellevue, 30 minutes from Downtown Seattle and close to recreational activities such as skiing, hiking, biking, local wineries, farmers markets and U Pick farms. We are right across the street from Lake Sammamish on the East side of the Parkway with a peek-a-boo view of Lake Sammamish from the front of the house. The view gets better in winter when leaves fall from the trees below. It's just a short 5 minute drive to the closest park and ride lot, to take buses to Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, the UW and beyond. It is approximately three miles to the 520/405 freeway ramps to then connect to I 90. This house is close to just about everything. If you wish to drive a little further there is snow skiing, hiking, whale watching, Ferries to the Islands in and around the sound, outlet malls and Casinos.
Additional information about rental rates
Please message us before you book. Our home is short term vacation rentals only; not long term housing. Please send your full name and number of guests, as well as ages of children and a short note on the purpose of your trip. Please let me know if you have stayed in an owner managed vacation rental home before. Thank you! Signed Rental Agreement required, and returned within 24 hours to secure your reservation, after which time I reserve the right to cancel the reservation and refund any deposits made. We continue to market our property and will take bookings after the 24 hour deadline if the agreement is not received. Weekly cleaning service available for an additional fee, please ask. HOUSE RULES This is a No Smoking property. Please choose another accommodation if you or anyone in your party is a smoker. Absolutely NO Pets. There is a minimum $500.00 to $1000.00 fee for smoking or having pet/pets on the property. This is not a party house and only registered guests listed on the Rental Agreement are allowed onto the property unless written permission has been granted at time of booking only. No parties, day visitors, entertaining, dinner get togethers, gatherings. As is customary in our area, We ask that you please remove shoes at, or inside the doors, as this protects our brand new hardwood floors as well as keeps dirt and mud out of the house. Please be considerate of the neighbors to either side of the house and observe quiet hours from 10PM to 7AM. * Our home is not air conditioned. We do have many fans and screens on the windows and the property backs to a forest area with cool night air in summer. ** The house is accessed by a set of cement stairs, so may not be suitable for those who have trouble climbing stairs.
