About Nate Wolf
Deepali and I moved to Minneapolis in early 2015 from Brooklyn. We quickly fell in love with the Brainerd Lakes area and wanted to find a home that we could enjoy with our friends and family when they came to visit us. We searched for several months until we found the perfect place and we are now ready to share it with you too!
Nate Wolf purchased this House in 2015
Why Nate Wolf chose Pequot Lakes
We loved the cabin and how it immediately just felt cozy and like home, but more importantly we loved the land and the lake! The land is a full three acres and you do truly feel like your away from it all! Lake Ossawinnamakee is such a beautiful lake and in our search there wasn't another house that came close to having all the wonderful features that this house and property had.

Wonderful family vacation.
Our family had a wonderful time on Lake Ossawinnamakee and the cabin was perfect for eight people. We used the fire pit every evening and the three season porch a few nights also. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of towels. The cabin was very clean and well maintained and Nate was very responsive to our questions and requests. We highly recommend this cabin for a family vacation.

Wonderful up north experience
Lots of space inside and out for a great family get-together/up north vacation. Beautiful lake views. The house has a very large family room, lots of beds, huge deck/patio and fire pit area. The beach is cute and the water is soooo clear. We had a wonderful time during our week-long stay.
Clean, well stocked, great property.
We have done this type of thing for 5 years. This was one of the nicest properties that we have been to. The beach worked great for us. The house was large enough for us all.
Beautiful home and property!
We enjoyed our stay very much. The lake home and property were beautiful and clean. Plenty of room for our family of 12 and everyone slept comfortably! It was awesome having 3 bathrooms/showers! The kids enjoyed the toys and games. It's a bit of a hike down to the lake/dock. We knew this ahead of time, so we brought two a kids' wagons which were VERY helpful for taking our things back & forth. The dock was large and very nice. The kids spent hours catching fish from the dock when we weren't out in our boats. The beach and swimming area were nice, private, and peaceful. We also thoroughly enjoyed the large outdoor patio/firepit area every evening! The owner sent us a welcome text and told us to be sure to contact him if we needed anything during our stay. It was great that he was easy to get in touch with to answer our questions, and he always responded promptly. Breezy Point is close and convenient for picking up odds and ends at the gas station/store and at Ace Hardware. Nisswa was nearby for some fun shopping. It was a great experience...we only wish we could have stayed longer!
Delightful quiet cabin on Lake Ossawinnamakee
We rented this cabin -- really a house -- for a week including the Fourth of July, when we were attending a family reunion in the Crosslake area. The house is as described: it is very spacious, with an open kitchen/dining/living room, and three bedrooms upstairs and a family room and one bedroom downstairs. It would be great for two couples with children as there's so much space and essentially two master bedrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs.
There's also a large deck with a picnic table, and a screened in porch perfect for relaxing in the evening. The cabin is at the quiet end of the lake, which we liked, with a pretty view over the lake, and a small sand beach and dock. The decor is simple and soothing -- not too much cabin kitsch -- which we found restful. The owner was very easy to deal with and highly responsive to emails sent through the VRBO website.
The house was spotlessly clean when we arrived. There were plenty of towels and linens, many more than we needed. The four bedrooms are fine; the beds are very comfortable. There's also an extra bed in the downstairs off the family room area. We are reasonably serious cooks, though not so much while vacationing. The kitchen was pretty well stocked, and had plenty of pans, knives, and bowls, and all the soap, dishwashing detergent, etc. that was needed. (There's no mixer, which I missed as I do our household's baking, but that's not a big deal in a vacation house.) Very importantly for us, as we are on call for clients even on vacation, the wifi worked perfectly.
We had a great time and would highly recommend this VRBO property. We'd happily stay there again should we need a place in the area. Thanks, Nate, for your hospitality.
Lovely summer getaway
Nate and Deepali, Your property was the perfect place for our family of 6 adults and 1 baby, complete with baby gate and all. We have stayed at many VRBO and yours ranks among the best, clean, well stocked, roomy and very comfortable. It was nice to have more than 1 roll of paper towel, extra dish and hand soap, toilet paper and those types of essentials. We made good use of the games and puzzles and having access to Netflix was a treat at times when we were exhausted after our days out doors. Proximity to things like groceries, gas etc was less than a 5 mile drive, We ate one day at Zorba'z in Crosslake, rented kayaks from wind water and wheels also in Crosslake, they provided drop off and pick up service as well. We golfed 2 days at 2 of the Breezy Point courses and of course did some nice shopping in Nisswa and Baxter. The lake is clean with a sandy shoreline and nice for swimming especially off the sand bar just to the west of your place. We look froward to staying another time, maybe a winter get away! I'll bet the snow shoeing and snowmobiling is fantastic!
