Upstairs Windsor Town Green condominium with high end furnishings, fireplace, a/c, fireplace, full kitchen, dining and sleeping for six guests. Everything convenient located within just a few steps out the front door including coffee, restaurants, pub, and summer concerts.

Walk into the condo and up a flight of stairs to the living room, dining area, kitchen and half bath. The living and dining areas are furnished with Ethan Allen quality, sofa and chairs, fireplace and dining for six. A nice balcony and deck is off the living room, furnished with chairs and table and gas grill.

Upstairs are three bedrooms including master with king bed, bathroom with tub and separate shower, guest bedroom and queen and second guest bedroom with two twins. A second bathroom for the two guest rooms sits next to the laundry area.

Dirty and noisy. Property manager very unpleasant.

We rented this property for 3 months. We decided to leave after 2. There is a serious problem with some noisy equipment that seems to be installed directly over top of the master suite. My wife ended up sleeping on the living room couch to escape it one night. We later found out from the owner there had been some sort of lawsuit brought by the HOA against the builder. The noise starts with a boom and then vibrates the whole room for about 10 minutes before shutting down. Christmas night and the following night this noise went on and off ALL NIGHT. The Property Manager is very unpleasant to deal with , denies any knowledge of this issue and provides no help in trying to understand the problem. The noise does not happen every night but when it does you cannot sleep in the master bedroom.

When I first contacted the property manager about the noise she informed me if I left before the second month was up , I would get a refund for the third month. I left on December 30 and as of Feb 4 have no refund for the month of January and the proper manager just lately informed me of new rules I was supposed to follow upon leaving to get my refund.

Very deceitful.

We left the unit cleaner than when we arrived and followed all the rules set up in the Guest Handbook found inside.

When we arrived the vacuum was so clogged with dirt it took me an hour to clean, wash and dry the filters. If the person responsible for cleaning the unit used it , they should be fired. Dirty pans were in the cupboard. Admittedly that was probably the last Tennant. I informed the property manager and got her typical rude response in return.

The sofa in the living is filthy and smells.

The dishwasher had two inches of dirty standing water in the bottom. That problem lessened with multiple runs but it needs to be replaced. The second bath tub was not draining due to hair and other scum blocking it. We tried to plunge and clean it ourselves. The property manager did send a plumber to clear it up.

This townhouse is in a nice location if you like living on a busy downtown street. It was obviously a well built townhouse with quality furnishings. It needs a thorough cleaning.

Besides the noise, the worst problem is having to deal with the Property Manager. I have used VRBO probably 4-5 times and have been very pleased withe the company. This woman should not be allowed to use the network.

I hope VRBO helps me get my refund

Owner's Response: This guest also unpleasant and of course there are always two sides to every story. Rather than go into a lengthy review as this person has chosen to do, suffice to say I haven't been in business for more than 20 years by treating guests in rude and unpleasant way. This guest stayed two months and finally mentioned only a few of the issues above, namely a few pots that weren't cleaned and the noise issue from the HVAC which is a contractor defect we found out from the owner. If the pot/pan issue was brought up immediately we certainly would have had no problem sending the housekeepers again, and would have been glad to do so. After two months of staying there with only one month to go, it left me very little flexibility. It is not my money and I cannot make unilateral decisions about it. We were not notified of the guest moving out. Had we received a phone call to confirm he'd moved out so we could inspect the town home, we'd have gladly refunded. No communication was received. Of course we are always sorry it comes to this, however this particular guest isn't being completely honest and is omitting the facts to support his own viewpoint.
