Born in the UK and living in Spain since 2000. I travel the world with my job and love learning about hospitality and picking up hints and tips for a perfect getaway.
David purchased this Villa in 2000
Why David chose Xeraco
I visited the area and instantly fell in love with this rustic farmhouse hidden in the orange groves. Originally with a large barn (pig shed) attached to the main house I could see the potential for something rather special. After 3 major renovations over the first 15 years I think I've ended up with a holiday home designed and equipped to provide amazing stays for multiple/extended families or large groups of all ages.
What makes this Villa unique
The Valencian area is famous for its amazing light, over 300 days of sunshine, quality fresh local foods, and of course the stunning beaches. The unique benefits of a large villa with it's own pool, no nearby properties, and the miles of amazing beaches have guaranteed outstanding holidays since 2001.

Incredibly Villa n Setting to Celebrate our Mother's 80th
There was plenty of room for the 16 family members, and with a full bathroom in every bedroom made our stay very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook everything from breakfast to homemade lasagna, ceasar salad and succulent BBQ chicken and melt in your mouth steaks. The property is nicely nestled among an Orange grove, with short walks to the village or the Mediterranean Sea, or of course a 5 minute taxi ride. Valencia is a comfortable 40 train ride, after spending a day in the Beautiful city, it's Wonderful to come home to the peaceful serenity of the villa. Everyone associated with the property were awesome and friendly. It is pretty hard to put into words, the amazing time we had. You'll just have to experience it for yourself. The Ritchie's. Thanks Mom n Dad
We all had a fab time, had everything we needed for all ages would definitely book again! Thanks David
This was our 4th family villa and we all enjoyed our week:
David ‘the owner’ was always on hand to deal with any issues and help with query’s. ‘we’ve not had this before’. The pool guy was friendly/efficient and very helpful and seemed to be the guy that sorted all issues out. Weather excellent- pool one of the best we have had, the bar and living area ideal for a large family. Location in orange grove and view of the mountains was perfect, it was a quiet and secluded location but only 25mins walk to beach and supermarket.
The outdoor play area was not usable as all the toys were old/worn and broken. Not enough cooking equipment but it was a enjoyable challenge to prepare a meal for 10. All the local restaurants closed from 3.30 till 8.30pm so that was a surprise, we had intended to hire a car in the local town but there were no hire companies in walking distance, taxis were good though. This was a good villa and worth the money, it’s just needs some TLC.😊
Francis Family at Casalita
Casalita is a great property. With a family group crossing three generations, we all enjoyed this fabulous villa. The combination of excellent space, seclusion and facilities including a pool that everyone could enjoy, makes this a very special place. We loved the location and often took the short walk to the beach and loved the sea, the beach bars and restaurants. David, Maria and Toni were excellent and extremely helpful. Could not recommend this place more. Just magical.
Our wonderful family holiday
What great place to holiday in. The villa was perfect and fulfilled all of our expectations and beyond. There were three generations who stayed and all enjoyed the space and serenity of the area. The pool is the crowning glory and many happy hours were spent splashing around. A truly lovely place, thank you David for a super time. Trish & Colin Vidler
Special interest holidays:
Naturist beach 3km from house.
The beach is 2 minutes drive, 20 minutes walking.
The house is located 5km from the A7 motorway, junction 60, taking you to Valencia airport in 40 minutes, and Alicante airport is 1 hour 15 minutes. Car hire is recommended. You will arrive at easy to find local estate agents. They will escort you to the house (2 minutes) issue keys and show you around.
The nearby town of Gandia is less than 10 minutes drive and offers all types of shopping. Gandia beach is just 3km from Gandia and is larger than Xeraco boasting lots of souvenir shopping, as well as plenty of clothes, leather goods, jewellery shops and stalls. For the sporty the marina, the yacht club and the large, busy beach offer all types of aquatic pursuits.
Xeraco Platya (beach) is just a few minutes drive from the house and offers kilometres of unspoilt golden sands and crystal clear waters, each year winning the Blue Flag clean beach award. There is no busy promenade at Xeraco just a natural beach that is too large to become crowded. The beach area is mostly made up of privately owned apartments but you won't see huge high rises as there is a height restriction enforced on building. Thus the beach remains attractive with a stylish, modern art-deco feel, and is indeed busy enough to provide restaurants, supermarkets, cafes, beach bars, ice cream parlours, seaside shops, souvenir shops, pharmacy, medical centre, bakeries, newsagent, tobacconist, large self-catering shop, children's play area with rides, bars and a night club, (weekends only).
2km (5 minutes drive) inland is Xeraco town. Larger than the beach it has several banks and provides all the specialised shops you may require, and on Mondays a nice street market. Valanciana is famous for its fiestas and Xeraco celebrates these elaborate street parades to the full, many of which culminate in a firework display, and can be experienced throughout the summer months.
The Safor Mountains behind Xeraco boast small rustic villages such as Barx and Marxuqera which are well loved by walkers and cyclists. Fishing and horse-riding are also available locally. Terra Mitica theme park with large rides, a water park and bird park, all lay behind Benidorm, approximately 45 minutes from the house. The cosmopolitan city of Valencia is easily reachable by car, 40 mins, or train directly from the village to the heart of the city (6 euros return). Must sees are the largest aquarium in europe, the Bio parc an amazing 'natural' zoo, and the city of arts and sciences.
Private chef delivers authentic Spanish food. Paellas a speciality. Cooked to order on wood stove by chef with 40 years of experience, and delivered to the villa at your specified time, full menu at the villa.
