It was a beautiful home with a beautiful view.

  • 5 of 5

It was a beautiful home with a beautiful view. We enjoyed feeding the horses, hiking and looking for nature. The morning sunrises were breathtaking. The owners thought of everything we needed. We were so blessed to make family memories over the Thanksgiving holidays. We will look forward to returning.

Beautiful setting for a peaceful vacation

  • 4 of 5

We spent a peaceful week in this beautiful NC mountain house to celebrate our oldest daughter's 50th birthday. Perfect sunny skies, cool weather and endless hiking trails gave us a wonderful break from humid Florida and the ongoing Hurricane Irma cleanup. We celebrated the big birthday all week by Apple picking in Hendersonville, climbing Chimney Rock, attending a Blue Grass concert at the Sierra Nevada brewery, browsing Asheville's art galleries, appreciating delicious chocolate birthday cake at The French Broad, walking the Garden Bridge in Lake Lure, and viewing the amazing NC Arboretum. Energized after a week in the mountains with family. Thanks to owner, Pam, for providing a beautiful, ammenities filled, comfortable home for us.

Mount Pleasant, SC

Spacious, open plan

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at Brights Creek could not have been more relaxing or comfortable. We were evacuating from Hurricane Irma and were most appreciative of George, the owner, accommodating our request to bring our two dogs with us. Additionally, we were thankful he met us right off the interstate to make sure we had the right directions to the property since GPS is not always accurate in the mountains. Brights Creek itself is a lovely gated community with golf, stables and lodge. One of the perks of staying at this house is that you are able to dine at the private club where we enjoyed a wonderful dinner our first evening. Additionally, the house is located close to Saluda, Flat Rock and Tryon where cute shops and restaurants abound.

Located on a quiet cul-de-sac, we enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and views from the large windows, porch and decks. The open floor plan and soaring ceiling make the house very inviting and relaxing. The living area has a gas fireplace which we enjoyed, a large screen tv and plenty of comfy seating. The kitchen contains all the perks of home and is flanked by a large kitchen table on one side and a large dining table on the other. Additionally, the kitchen island has plenty of seating. The large master is on the main level with a large beautifully appointed bathroom. Additionally, this level has another 1/2 bath.

On the lower level, three more bedrooms, two more bathrooms and another living area make for a wonderful retreat from the main level, if desired. On this lower level, large windows and doors open out to a covered deck from two of the bedrooms, as well as the living area. The third bedroom would be perfect for children.

Upon George's recommendation, we visited the Tryon International Equestrian Center, conveniently located minutes away. It is a must see!

If you are looking for a house suitable for a large family or several couples, this one is perfect. We look forward to a return visit when not under duress!

An incredible home, filled with beautiful art, views of the mountains and creature comforts.

  • 5 of 5

The care, work and sheer talent the owners have put into this lovely home is surpassed only by the surrounding and breathtaking views of the mountains. This was a wonderful escape vacation home which is beautifully maintained. The owners provided every creature comfort, including snacks and bathrobes. We loved our stay and hope to return!

A safe port in the storm

  • 4 of 5

We were evacuated during Hurricsne Matthew and were able to rent this mountain home. The location is a bit remote and cell reception for AT&T customers not good, but we were thankful that the home had lots of comfortable beds, was pet friendly, and provided us room to spread out and relax during an otherwise stressful time.
