Modern interior tastefully decorated. Classic exteriors within finely landscaped grounds. Grounds include 5 swimming pools within a few seconds walk. Bars, restaurants and shops on site. There is a fabulous restaurant, Wild Fire, opposite the apartment. Many beautiful beaches within 10-15 minutes drive. Vila Sol 27 hole championship golf course. Lovely Vilamoura marina, cafes and boutiques are 5 minutes by car. The apartment has its own Fibre Internet with free WIFI connection. There is also free WIFI adjacent to the pools, Deli France and Oscar's bar.

Please note that when checking availability, you are able to check in on the same day as other previous guests depart. The change over times accommodate this.

About Simon Chapman

Hello, My name is Simon Chapman and together with my wife Caroline, have owned the apartment for over 10 years. We run a successful Electrical and Security firm in the UK employing 30 people. I live with Caroline, in a village called Anslow, just outside Burton on Trent. Caroline and I try to visit Vila Sol at least six times a year to ensure that the apartment meets our exacting standards. We really enjoy our time there, finding it very relaxing. (I do get told off occasionally for still working with my laptop!). We are sure that you will enjoy your stay. We have guests returning for their 10th year with us, which we believe to be our best advert.

Why Simon Chapman chose Vilamoura

We looked at various properties in the Vilamoura area. The calmness of Vila Sol and the finish of all the apartments was head and shoulder above the other properties we looked at.

The apartment had been furnished by a couple looking to spend considerable there. Unfortunately their circumstances changed which is why the apartment came onto the market.

We were extremely fortunate to come across this wonderful apartment and really enjoy our time here.

What makes this apartment unique

We love the fact that we can reach Portugal within such a short time from the UK. We find the locals extremely friendly and feel very safe.

Our apartment benefits from being south facing, at the quiet end of the complex, yet less than one minutes walk from the pools. We are close to the supermarket and the pub! There are many restaurants within easy walking distance from the apartment. There is also a shop and delicatessen.

Being a duplex (with the bedrooms on the second floor)

it is at a big advantage over apartments on higher floors.

We are able to shut the patio doors and walk to the pools. If you stay in a 1st or 2nd floor apartment, you have to walk all the way round the whole block to access the pools.

Notes on accommodation: This apartment is owned by a member of Village Gardens Club, which grants our guests free access to the central area of pools and gardens. Please be aware that this area is now privately owned and not all Vila Sol Village apartments grant you access to the pools and gardens. In case of doubt, please check with the Village Gardens Club administration ( before you rent. Village Gardens Club rules will be available for your consultation in the apartment. A complimentary cot & high chair are available. The air-conditioning also acts as heating if required (in the winter months). The communal grounds are enclosed and security gated, so safe for your children. Outside: The lounge leads out onto a large tiled patio shaded by a pergola. Sun loungers (with cushions) and patio furniture are provided. The patio opens out onto the village green. Five shared pools are provided within a few seconds walk, together with poolside bar/cafe. Ample car parking spaces outside the apartment. Utility Room: Washing machine, tumble dryer, drying rack , pegs, iron & board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bath towels and linen are provided. Property cleaning service is provided for stays longer than one week. Please provide your own pool towels. Other: Downstairs cloakroom (very handy for the children!

Perfect accommodation in perfect surroundings

Lovely modern and clean apartment in the middle of a high class complex that is Vila Sol, this two bedroom apartment has everything you will need for a smooth going holiday right beside a central garden with five outdoor pools, also very central to enjoy the beautiful Algarve towns very nearby. Totally recommend it .

Superb well equipped comfortable two bedroom apartment

My family and I have just spent a wonderful two weeks at Vila Sol. Having stayed on VIla Sol several times in various properties I can honestly say this is the nicest apartment we have stayed in. I have never stayed in a downstairs property before and having a large terrace and access to the pool areas made the apartment a great place to stay. It is situated close to the resteraunts and small shopping area with easy access to the pool areas. The apartment itself is spacious with two bedrooms with their own bathrooms a large living area and kitchen and fabulous terrace with sun loungers. It is well equipped even down to having a cool box, parasols and chairs for the beach. Vila Sol is a lovely complex and as I have already said we have stayed several times before, however I have to say that this year has been memorable because we were so pleased with the quality of the accommodation. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone and we will definitely be returning.

Perfect accommodation for our recent visit to the Vilamoura area.

We are regular visitors to Portugal - two couples, gents play 2-3 games of golf and enjoy the rest of the week with our wives doing the normal holiday activities. This apartment provided us with the best accommodation we have found for our annual visit. The accommodation has everything one requires, it is clean, all facilities work as required, has detailed instructions for all equipment and an extensive folder of 'things to do, places to visit, restaurants, bars etc'. The lounge opens out onto a large patio which in turns opens out to the extensive grass area that is shared by the other accommodation in the complex. Situated on the edge of the complex provides both privacy and easy access to the small area of shops, restaurants and Oscar's Bar. The location, just off the Loule to Quartiera road also provides easy access to both towns and to Vilamoura, either by taxi or car.

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment and would be more than happy to return.

Excellent apartment in fabulous location

We have stayed at this apartment several times and are already looking in to going back. This time we took elderly parents along and they too found it ideal. It is located with easy access to the central garden and pools area, but far enough away not to make noise and passers by an issue. Many local restaurants nearby, some of whom will collect/return you from Vila Sol resort. The specification is as good as ever and the owners have recently updated the kitchen units. The place is very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Have no hesitation in recommending for any age group! Thanks for a great stay.

It’s like being at home with everything you need in a warm country. WiFi in apartment and English tv, near restaurants and a small shop swimming pools and plenty of arenas to soak up the sun.

A local Pub (Oscars) serves excellent food at very affordable prices. There is also several other restaurants serving high quality meals within easy walk of the apartment. There are also several other shops including a newsagents selling UK newspapers. All of the above are less than 1 minutes walk!
