Why Krisula or Robert Gause chose Tarpon Springs
This specific property has been in the Gause family at least 90 years. The cottage bedrooms are over 80 years old and an addition was made 30 years ago. It is a quaint cottage that is on the water with a big shared backyard and there are many activities!!! Fishing off the dock is fun. Guests have caught these fish that are native to the area Red drum, Black drum, Small Tarpons, Jakes and Mangrove snapper, what a variety!!! Able to kayak, boat, jet ski and be out in open water without having to wait for a bridge to open from the dock located in the backyard. Great restaurants with night entertainment full access from water. Close to downtown and historic Greektown all in walking distance. We live on property if not on vacation. With that being said we are here to make your stay memorable! We are open to special requests. *Complimentary deep water boat dock with electricity and fresh water Thank you for choosing our home and have a wonderful vacation

Lovely place, lovely hosts!
Clean, comfortable, walking distance to everything, lovely setting!
Clean cottage with convenient location
Hosts were very accommodating and have thought of every detail to make the stay wonderful. Cottage was clean and well maintained. They provide bicycles and kayaks for use as well as an area guide with recommendations for restuarants. This was a perfect location for our family with kids to enjoy the canal, bay, ocean, parks, local restuarants and pubs. You can walk, ride bikes, or take a short drive to many attractions. It is also around 30 minutes to downtown Tampa or the airport. The cottage is secluded enough to give you peace and quiet, yet convenient if you want to enjoy what Tarpon Springs has to offer. We enjoyed the property and the area and appreciate the hospitality of Rob and Krisula.
Peaceful and Perfect
We had such a great stay! We brought our boat so we were able to utilize the dock and water access to local restaurants...and of course, fishing. Very convenient!! We also used the bikes to ride to the Sponge Docks. We were able to grill and use the outside areas and porch to relax and visit. I would recommend this place to anyone and would stay here again!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage had everything we needed and it was clean, well cared for, comfortable, and quiet. Krisula and Robbie were very responsive and attentive - great hosts! Location is ideal. Looking forward to another visit!
It was great!
It was a wonderful place to stay ,nice and clean . Krisula and Robert were happy to help whenever needed and offered a nice spot to sit outside and also had a bbq right there. Close to sponge docks and all local restaurants and groceries. Nice local place to eat called the Rusty Bellie at the sponge dock. Thanks Robert and Krisula.
Can't wait to go back!
We loved everything about our visit. The location is as near perfect as you could hope for. Easy ride to the main drag on the provided bicycles, but don't stop there. Tarpon Springs is a very enjoyable town to explore by bike. We also made good use of the two kayaks to explore much of the bay. The cottage itself is built into/adjacent to the main house upstairs. The private screened porch has a nice view, though not of the canal; which is accessed by strolling into the back yard/porch/dock area.
For us the greatest enjoyment was our hosts. We came home refreshed and with new friends. :-) Can't wait to visit again.
Thank you! The feeling is mutual! Welcome back anytime
