The Jute Store at Brooklinn Mill
The bedrooms have been furnished with hand-picked furniture giving each character. For example the king-size bed is a beautiful old sleigh bed (with a very comfy modern mattress!). The beds are made up with cosy feather duvets and crisp cotton sheets. There are also hot-water bottles and lovely throws for each bed for those colder nights. The room with the king-size bed also has a lovely east facing balcony (with chairs and a table) which offers great views down the river and is a real sun-trap in the morning through to the early afternoon (in summer). Up to two cots can be provided on request and can be accommodated in the king-size and double rooms. Alternatively one cot can be put in the book-room.

Why Louise Copeland chose Blairgowrie
We have made Brooklinn Mill our home - we live in the main mill building. What is really special about Brooklinn Mill is the combination of the stunning location, the hydro-power, and the sense that you are a million miles from anywhere else - but are only a mile from Blairgowrie. Oh, and the red squirrels and other wild-life that live here too.
What makes this House unique
Brooklinn Mill enjoys a breathtaking location overlooking two rivers. The mill weir provides a stunning back-drop to the mill buildings. It is a quiet and tranquil place - the loudest sound is usually that of the rivers tumbling past. It has a feel of being miles away from anywhere else, but is only a mile away from Blairgowrie with all of its amenities and is well-situated for exploring large parts of Scotland. In recent years we have refurbished the hydro-electric scheme on the site so most of the time we generate all the power used here, exporting the surplus power to the grid. Don't worry though, when the turbine is off, we use mains power! We also have a heat-pump to provide the heating and hot water.
