Property is exactly as described....

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay during mid July. We found that the cabin had all the essentials that we needed and was as described in the property description. We docked our boats on the property's dock and fished daily with mild success. We loved having nightly fires in the firepit. We enjoyed taking the boat and docking at Timberline Resort for lunch. The driveway was great for parking trailers and vehicles. This is a great property for a lake vacation without breaking the bank. Owner was responsive and helpful.

Felt like I was staying at a friend's cottage

  • 5 of 5

I don't have a friend with a cottage but if I did it would feel just like staying here. A perfect blend of all American lake fun on the weekend and quiet seclusion on the weekdays. Catching frogs and building bonfires, renting a pontoon boat and paddling a kayak out to a tiny island. Friday Fish Fry at the Golf Course and a great hike at Dave's Falls on a rainy day. We found the cottage to be tidy and perfect for our family and plenty of room if we had more guests. The cottage was extrelmely well stocked for all of our basic needs and just like at a friend's house you open the cupboard and say oh thank goodness they have salt and pepper here and we don't have to run to the store! Thank you for sharing your home with us and we hope that you found everything in perfect order when you came home

Nice Stay

  • 3 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. our main objective was to use the lake. The area had weeds at the shore area but beyond the dock it was clear and sandy for quite a ways. Our kids swam quite a bit. We did pick up a mild case of swimmers itch however but we swam all over the lake so I cannot say it was from this location specifically.

We docked our 20' ski boat on the dock and that worked out well. The water was pretty high this year as I understand. It was about 3' deep at the end of the dock. The boat launch is not far away but very hard to access. Have to back down quite a ways and no dock at launch. The roads are tight and might be difficult with a larger boat.

The cottage itself was just ok. It was clean in general but nothing special. No wall decorations to speak of, this must be used primarily as a rental property. As such, it could use some updating but functioned ok. There is only 1 small air conditioner in the porch area and with fans did the trick. The refrigerator had some condiments in it (we didn't use them) and was pretty small for a weeks worth of food. There was a nice TV and BluRay player with a bunch of movies too.

This end of the lake has a lot of lower land and with the excessive rain was very wet. There was a lot of standing water in the surrounding areas and the ground was soggy. We wanted to spend more time outside in the evenings but the mosquitos were terrible. (Not the owners fault of course).

I had no real issues all week. I attempted to contact the owner a couple of times by email and text and it was several hours before he responded.

All in all a relaxing week. If your objective is to spend time on the lake, this is a good place. This cottage has just the basics. If your looking for a luxury resort you may want to look else ware.

Cozy Cottage on Noquebay

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay in this cozy cottage on Lake Noquebay. We had a great week swimming, boating, fishing and checking out all the Crivitz area has to offer. We had plenty of room between my wife and I and our two boys, and Grandma even stopped in for a couple of nights to visit. We found the cabin to be as described and displayed in the photos. Kitchen supplies we minimalistic, but adequate for most needs.

Cottage was clean and furnished with what we needed. Quiet peaceful place with very few neighbors up during our stay. Any questions were answered promptly by owner.
