Lovely home close to Snoqualmie pass
The guesthouse was a great place for us to stay and enjoy the snow. Our boys (7 and 8 years old) loved pretend skiing with the Wii almost as much as the real thing. It was nice to have laundry machines so we could wash clothing after cross-country skiing on Saturday and before snowshoeing on Sunday. For food you need to bring your own salt, pepper, olive oil etc. There was coffee but we brought our own just in case. The owners live right next store but left us our privacy. They did make sure the driveway was plowed. We would definitely stay again.
Our family spent New Year's Eve and New Years Day skiing Snoqualmie Pass. It was only about a 20 minute drive from the cabin to the hill. Because of the pictures on VRBO and the previous positive comments, there were no surprises. The cabin was charming and clean. It was spacious for all of our ski bags and groceries and well stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen. The wii was a bit hit - our teenagers loved it! The owners were super kind and helpful when we had to bother them with a question. I definitely recommend this cabin and hope that we will be able to stay there again someday.
Great cabin, nice decor, and well maintained.
We had this cabin for the last week of December. We loved it. It was very clean and well maintained, everything worked, and the owners obviously put in a lot of effort to make the decor pleasant and inviting. On nights it snowed, the owner was up at the crack of dawn to plow the driveway (though I still recommend chains, since the public roads were not always plowed). A nice added bonus was a Wii game console that the kids had fun with. We would definitely try to stay there again if we're ever in the area.
We just returned from wonderful stay at this lovely cabin. It is much roomier than it appears in the pictures. Very nicely decorated and clean. The owners live on the property in the house next door and are very kind and friendly. They will make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. Although the owners are close, you still have complete privacy. There was a lot of snow during our stay and we were able to walk to Lake Easton from the cabin and snow shoe on the trail at the lake. It was beautiful! We made a short, 15 minute drive to tour the cute town of Roslyn with quaint shops and restaurants. We played games, watched movies and played Wii (came with the cabin) while enjoying a fire in the wood burning stove. I traveled with my 4 adult children and there were beds for all ( a queen bed in the very spacious master, 2 twins in the second bedroom, and a double mattress in a 3rd small room). The beds were comfortable and very clean. The 2 bathrooms are quite spacious and the laundry room has a full size washer and dryer. We are already planning another visit and looking forward to staying here again! Highly recommend !
Perfect place to stay! Very close to everything. We went into Leavenworth, North Bend to the outlets, and Snoqualmie to play in the snow. Very spacious and beautiful inside!
Location was perfect! Hosts are amazing!
We had a great time at this property. The cabin is so much roomier that the pictures can show you. The hosts are so gracious. They are right next door and do everything to make your stay amazing. The property is just a stones throw from I-90 and although you can see traffic through the trees, it was still peaceful. Couldn't hear a thing from inside. We were there during a ton of snowfall so it was nice to be so close to the highway when there was 3 feet of snow on the road. There is a gas station/convienence store and a burger joint right down the road. The cabin had everything else we could need (although I'd recommend to the owners a plastic mat inside the door for putting snow covered boots on!). We will definitely be returning. Only 15-20 min to multiple sledding locations/tubing/skiing/snowboarding. We've stayed at several cabins and this was the best time we've had. The kids just wanted to play right outside the door in the snow all weekend. We loved it!
Travel East on I-90 from Seattle, take exit 70 then turn left, go over the freeway and then turn left again, first street on the right, then the large wooden gate on the right. it's the building at the back of the property to the left. 60 Smith Drive is the street you would be looking for.
