About Jessie Ream
There is so much to do in the Thermopolis area we think everyone should want to live here! If you can't live here, then why not stay in a great house while you enjoy your visit? The reasons we love it here are plentiful. The best part for us is definitely the hot springs pools, we go at least 3 times a week. The boys fish the river across the highway from us and we take many day trips throughout the year to the numerous area attractions.
Jessie Ream purchased this House in 2015
Why Jessie Ream chose Lucerne
Our neighbors to the south of us have a vacation rental. We thought that was such a fun idea! When this house came up for sale, we jumped on it. We feel it is the perfect place for a vacation rental and it is just steps from our home.
What makes this House unique
The most unique thing about this property is the hot sprigs flowing through it. We use the water for our animals and it also heats our own house across the street!

Nice home. Clean, well stocked with necessities. Modern appliances. The owners, Jesse, Tom, and their kids could not be nicer or more helpful. Love the chickens and the goats.
The house was clean and tastefully furnished. Quite settting. It had the added enjoyment of the goats and chickens. Conveniently located to a lot of attractions. Definitely would stay here again.
Clean, well stocked with plenty of space to put the stuff we wanted to bring. The owners are great and easy to work with. We plan on returning to the roost next time we are in town.
Perfect location, home, city...
We picked Thermopolis for its location. We are on a 2wk trip casing areas for retirement. Whichever direction you go, Thermopolis was 2.5-3hr drive to various other towns including Cody/Yellowstone area.
Things to do in Thermopolis that we enjoyed: Hot springs, we enjoyed eating on multiple occasions at Dairyland (it's the place with mj other golf). The people that we encountered throughout Wy, were very friendly.
The Roost home: it was the perfect size for our family of 5. We cooked dinners (all tools/dishes were readily avail to cook). We didn't have to overpack because there is a washer/dryer. Central air made it comfortable inside. My kids loved the goats/chickens. It was noted in other reviews of the smells of the hot springs and animals, but I had no such experience. They also enjoyed the swing on the tree. The property is clean and comfortable and I was able to enjoy my shows on Netflix via there Roku :).
I just advise to bring some Off and use it regularly because of mosquitoes. I didn't have problems other them when I had it on, and was a smorgasbord when I didn't. ;)
Jessie (the owner) was quick to reply to questions and also very friendly. If and when I return to the area, I'll definitely use this property again hands down.
Welcoming, comfortable, quiet, accommodating.
Beautiful Wyoming hills surrounding a comfortable home. Close to all that Thermopolis has to offer visitors. We have enjoyed our stay and thank the owners. We look forward to coming again. Thermopolis is an interesting, unique area.
Quiet place with goats!
We stayed in Thermopolis for a mini-vacation. This place was perfect. The home was very comfortable. We had everything we needed. We especially loved talking to and watching the goats and chickens. The owner's son even brought us fresh eggs for one of our breakfasts. I highly recommend this place.
Less than 5 minutes away from the world's largest hot springs! Less than 10 minutes to the Wyoming Dinosaur Museum. Less than 2 hours from Yellowstone National Park.
