Villa in Dalyan, Turkey - Quiet Location, 50 metres from River, 5 mins from Resort Centre
- english, Punjabi, Gujrati, Hindi and Swahili
Having been in the hotel business for over 10 years in Manchester, UK, we decided to go into the exclusive villa renting business many years ago. A lot of time, thought and love has been invested in creating Villa Allure. The soft furnishings of the villa expresses much of my early childhood which was spent in Kenya, I hope that our future guests appreciate this personal touch. To date the feedback from our guests have indeed been very positive and we would like to thank both our past and future guests that have chosen to stay at our villa. We look forward to you and your family enjoying Villa Allure and promise that you will not regret it as your first choice when visiting Dalyan. Dalyan is indeed a very enchanting and unique experience!
Navine purchased this Villa in 2008
Why Navine chose Dalyan City Center
I fell in love with Dalyan from my first visit and it was as if time had stopped. Dalyan is an area of stunning natural beauty, an area of sea, river, lakes, mountains and pine forests. Wonderful un-spoilt Dalyan in this fantastic corner of Turkey is the perfect place to enjoy the relaxing and exotic culture of Mediterranean Turkey. The 12 Island trip is an amazing experience and I would always recommend this to anyone visiting Dalyan. A wonderful day with beautiful views of the Islands, swimming and taking in the colours of the sea with lunch on board is a day you that will be etched in your memories for time to come. You will be picked up from the Villa and the yacht takes off from Gocek Harbour which has gorgeous Yachts and Boats to admire. There are many other excursions that you can enjoy from jeep safaris, day trips to the snow capped mountains and ski resorts.
What makes this Villa unique
My family has always looked forward to spending a couple of weeks a year in our Villa which has meant that we have made many friends both with the locals and frequent visitors of Dalyan, some who have been coming for numerous years which just about sums it up. You will be so spoilt for the choices of where you will be dining in the can I say! Romantic Riverside Restaurants with river, tomb and mountain views. The cuisine is absolutely superb, service impeccable, menu choices include both Turkish and English dishes. Lovely Cocktail bars with live music and shisha bars are scattered in the town centre. Shops are open until midnight in the summer months so you can shop till you are ready to drop.....I bet you wish you were here! "Dalyan is simply an addiction"

The Villa was impressive and the layout was good. However the cleanliness wasn't great . We had to buy cleaning materials and give the outside table and chairs a clean. Inside was okay but overall it was a little tired and a number of things needed to be replaced or mended. The air conditioning units in the upstairs end bedrooms blew out black bits when being used so they needed to be looked at. The door handles were put on with the handle facing up! The master bedroom shower tiles were dirty and needed to be re-grouted. They didn't have a safe in the property for which i thought was needed as we had to find places to hide all our valuables.
Overall we had a good holiday and the area and closeness to the town centre was excellent.
Quiet relaxed family holiday on the beach, walking and running in the hills, chugging on the river.
Four good sized bedrooms with bathrooms.
The kitchen has everything we needed including a great size fridge.
The little round outside hut was great for eating supper and sharing stories together.
Stress free family holiday in the sun
From the moment we arrived at Dalaman airport to our departure we were looked after by the Oruc management team in a non-intrusive and genuinely supportive manner. The villa was clean and comfortable with a fantastic pool for the kids and a shady, relaxing Kosk for the adults. We booked 2 excursions through Oruc and a couple of others from local operators, all of which were incredibly good value, and again, organised and executed by warm, friendly and genuine tour guides. Local eats are a short walk away, lots of venue options with similar menus and all exceptionally good value. The river and tombs provided the perfect backdrop to many of our evening meals which we learnt are
always best eaten after the August sun sets! I highly recommend boat tours with Captain Hussein and a day trip to Bacardi beach (ask the Oruc guys to organise).
Thank you very much for taking the time to write your lovely review.
It is much appreciated to know that you and your family have had a great time not only at the Villa, but experiencing the magic of Dalyan and the hospitality of Oruc.
We hope that you will be returning to Dalyan in the near future and look forward to welcoming you again.
Beautiful property, highly recommended.
This is a fabulous property. Recently refurbished, bright and modern with a beautiful pool, Jacuzzi, shady raised Kosch for relaxing and a brick barbeque in the garden. The outside dining area is very pleasant, with wicker parasols. It is about 5 mins walk to the nearest small supermarket which is fine for basics and alcohol, There is a much bigger supermarket in town, about 15mins walk but a Taxi rank next door and only about £2.50 to bring you home. You save more than that as its cheaper there. It is ideally situated in a quiet road but no more than 10 mins stroll from the town and the dozens of Restaurants, Bars & shops.
Oruc, the management company, will organise anything you want. From Turkish Baths, around £13, (highly recommended to prevent sunburn) to boat trips. We hired their boat for 2 separate trips for our party of 7. It was reasonably priced, the 3 crew pleasant and the barbeque and salads prepared on board were delicious. They collected us from the villa for all these trips free of charge.
We had a couple of small issues which were resolved with a quick phone call. Nice to have a contact in case of need. They also collected us from the villa on our last day and held our luggage in their offices until we were ready to be taken back to the airport.
Booking was simple, communication good and considering the quality of the property, exceptional for the price. Would definitely recommend this property .
Second stay at Villa Allure, it was even better than last year. Navine the owner has built a nice private wall around the villa and new kitchen and sofa. The only problem was our transfer taxi did not turn up, it was a good job we had been before and know Ata who owns the Big Bag shop as we had no key to get in. It was 1 am but Ata sorted it for us, he is a great guy.
A lovely modern villa, 10 minute walk into Dalyan
Myself and my family (total 6 guests) stayed at Villa Allure during May half term. A lovely break - the villa was just as described, with 4 good bedrooms (each with ensuites), a clean white kitchen (nb. I noticed some previous reviews said they couldn't find any teatowels or a corkscrew - the kitchen does have them), and a great pool area. The villa management company were great in popping by to ask if we needed anything on our first day. An easy 5-10 minute walk into Dalyan, where there are plenty of shops and restaurants, but a bonus that the villa is in a quiet area. Would certainly return.
Thank you for taking the time to give us your review. It is much appreciated.
We so look forward to welcome you back in the very near future.
Special interest holidays:
The area is a world heritage site and famous as the breeding ground to the giant Carretta Carretta turtle. It is also the home of hundreds of birds including sea eagles and kingfishers and a stork wildlife sanctuary. I can arrange all activities from cycling (2 cycles provided for guests) horse riding, gulet cruises, snorkeling, fishing, scuba, white water rafting etc. The area is also famous as an archeological site of ancient ruins and Lycian cliff tombs and is the home of mud baths and natural sulphur bathing springs. Absolutely loads to do.
The beach is a protected area and the village is on a river between the Koycheciz lake and the Turtle beach (voted in the top ten beaches of the world). A river boat taxi runs all the time from the harbour to the beach 4km or you can take a cheap dolmus by road 11km. A superb day is to take a boat across the lake to the local market at Koycheciz and after visit the mud baths and sulphur spring sand. Eat at the restaurant or have your own barbecue on the boat and a swim in the lake.
Under 20km from Dalaman airport. Car not essential as the villa is walking distance to the centre where 60 restaurants await and dozens of activities. Car hire locally cheaper than airport. Taxi collection at the airport provided at cost £35 for 4 and £45 for up to 12. Just provide flight details when booking.
50 metres from the river and 500 metres village centre. 1km to the lake. The ancient city of Kaunos is just over the river and an absolute must to visit with occasional open air concerts in the amphitheatre. Fethiye and Marmaris are 1 hour and 1 1/2 hours away. Tours to Ephesus and Pamukkale available and more local trips in gulets and 4 wheel drive safaris etc.
There is a small store 150m from the villa and 3 larger supermarkets in the village at 0.3km and 1km away. Restaurants, shops and bars abound all over with over 60 eating establishments to choose from ranging from cheap pide cafés to classy riverside restaurants serving fish specialties and every conceivable type of Meze. The local bank has a cash machine and there are 2 others located along the high street. Saturday has the local market which is great to buy cheap provisions and fresh produce. Leather and jewellery are cheap and of the highest quality but be sure to bargain. All clothes are of great value.
Oruc exclusive arrange all types of trips and visits.
