Fun in the Snow 3/2011

  • 5 of 5

Some friends and I rented this place in the late winter of 2011 and had a great time. We stayed in two places one here in NLT and one in SLT. NLT was a quite, subdued place to relax and ski. Some nice watering holes though. SLT was more ruckus and had a great night life. Besides that this house was by far superior than the south lake home.

The homeowners had everything there we needed. Even the little things like sugar and other misc. items. They also were not stingy on towels. There were plenty for us to use and if we needed more we just washed the used ones. Everything was shoveled and open for us to get too. I would recommend anyone this place... my only suggestion though is I would rent a 4WD vehicle if you're coming in the winter. The neighborhood hill up to the street the house is on isn’t bad so long as it hasn’t frozen. I put a rental van in a snow bank going downhill one evening and broke a tie rod. Ended up missing a day of skiing waiting on a replacement. One of those times you should opt for more car just to be safe. You can however drive up and down no problem with a 2WD vehicle but would need chains (ended up buying some and using them). Hope this helps.
