About Veronique Rhys Evans
We are a young married couple from London with two small children. We've been going to Italy since we were children ourselves and absolutely love it. So much so, we decided to buy and build the house of our dreams there! We love great food, wine, weather and culture - everything you get plenty of in Italy and we enjoy with friends and family in our wonderful house.
Veronique Rhys Evans purchased this Villa in 2006
Why Veronique Rhys Evans chose Falerone
We knew we wanted to buy in Italy and the Marche offered everything we could want - beautiful scenery, historic towns, mountains, beaches, great food and wine, but all without the crowds and cost of Tuscany or Umbria. The people are amazingly friendly and you can't fail to be made to feel welcome. We love the area so much, we even got married there when we fell in love with a tiny local church and persuaded 100 friends to join us for the most incredible weekend.
What makes this Villa unique
It really is our dream home. Everything you could want is there. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

A delightful house and view
The house is spacious and beautifully furnished. The pool is perfectly positioned sitting between the back terrace and a breathtaking view. It was a very special week for all of us.
Perfect peaceful retreat
Five of us had an idyllic time in this beautiful location. The villa is very well appointed, spacious and clean and in a wonderful picturesque place. Although it feels remote (exactly what we wanted) there are good supermarkets within a few minutes drive. Replenishing food was the only reason we had to leave the villa- apart from that we would happily have just chilled around the very clean and well maintained pool for the whole 2 weeks. A very friendly and helpful owner, we couldn't have asked for more. We will certainly be back!
Recommended for a relaxing holiday in a beautiful location.
The whole family loved Vista Verde and found it just as good as it looks on the website. The house is clean and very well equipped; it felt like a home, rather than a holiday rental. Perfectly located in a quiet spot, it has wonderful views and a very good pool.
We were a party of 8, spanning 3 generations; from a baby of 10 months to grandparents aged 60+. With 3 good bedrooms and bathrooms on the first floor and plenty of space on the second, everyone was comfortable. Downstairs is open plan with a good-sized kitchen area, which suited us very well
Inside, the villa has comfortable furniture and nice quality linen and towels. Having 3 fridges was a bonus, as we had exceptionally hot weather.
Outside, the shaded dining/barbecue area was in constant use, as was the beautiful swimming pool. It felt like a bit of an effort to tear ourselves away from the villa to explore, though the nearby villages (several within 10 minutes drive) are well worth a visit and we enjoyed some excellent restaurant meals.
Communication with the owner was very good in the lead up to our holiday and during our stay.
Tranquil calm & breathtaking idyllic scenery.
This is a spectacular house in the unspoiled, picturesque mountains near the East coast of Italy overlooking the most breathtaking views imaginable. It is so blissfully quiet here, I can hear nothing (outside the ruckus of my own children) but the crickets.
The house is very well equipped, from the large swimming pool, expansive garden, beautiful outdoor eating area and man-sized bbq, there is everything you need for a relaxing, effortless vacation.
We had a wonderful two weeks at Villa Vista Verde. We were a group of nine, two families (children aged 11-7) and a single friend. The villa is very well equipped and feels like a home not a holiday rental and has everything you need from lots of games and DVDs to a lovely kitchen where cooking was a pleasure. The house is large enough to give everyone their own space and the girls loved having their own floor to play and escape to when they weren't in the pool.
The pool and gardens are beautiful and on a couple of days we didn't even leave the villa as the children had space to play and the adults could relax enjoying the panoramic views. The pool is lovely and kept clean by regular visits by the cleaners. It is big enough for everyone to be in a the same time and we had loads of fun and games.
We explored many of the villages in the surrounding areas, a few of the restaurants and sampled lots of lovely Gelato. It was festival time during our visit, it was sometimes challenging finding out information but people where very friendly and helpful when asked, so we partied with the locals. We also drove to the beach for a couple of afternoons, which was about a 40 minute drive and the children loved hiring a pedelo, which was very cheap.
We all had a great holiday and have come away with very fond memories of the villa in Falerone.
Great trip to Le Marche
We were two families - four adults and four kids in total (between 6 and 9 years of age), looking for rest and relaxation. We found it. The house is beautiful. Really great kitchen with everything you could need. Beautifully furnished. Clean, spacious bedrooms, nice bathrooms, great showers - all perfect indoors. However, it was outdoors that the villa really came into its own. A really beautiful garden and the perfect pool. I will miss spending time relaxing in the pools looking out over the rolling hills of Le Marche, with Falerone on the hilltop nearby.
Our biggest worry was that it would all be too quiet and too remote. It wasn't. Le Marche is great. Falerone was beautiful and there were plenty of restaurants within a short drive, and lots of great places to visit. You need a car - would be difficult to walk anywhere for dinner - and the road down to the house is a little hair-raising, but other than that everything was perfect.
Day trip to Urbisaglia highly recommended. Beautiful nature reserve in an old monastery outside the town, fascinating roman ruins right by the town, and a beautiful fortress right in the centre.
We had a great time in Falerone and would not hesitate to recommend Villa Vesta Verde!
