Beautiful Villa with fantastic views!
My husband and I spent a wonderful week in beautiful St. Kitts. The villa is beautiful and was immaculate when we arrived. It was so peaceful and quiet which is what we were looking for. The house itself is huge and the view is outstanding. The master bedroom is awesome and has the best view in the house. Our favorite part was the huge covered patio where we spent most of our week. The trade winds kept us cool as we relaxed in the hammocks. The pool is outstanding. We walked to Cockleshell beach for dinner (delicious) one night but cooked most our meals at home. We really didn’t have the desire to leave that view and patio! We drove to Brimstone Fort one day and highly recommend seeing that. So worth the drive. Recommend a car about a 20 minute drive from town. The property manager Cassandra was outstanding. Promptly responded to all questions and one of the best we have dealt with. The only problem we had was the Cable company on the island upgraded recently and we were unable to use TV. But the WiFi is excellent and we were able to stream shows on our iPads. Still missing that patio, cool breeze and view...
Turtle Beach House is literally a few steps from Turtle Beach. Also nearby is Cockelshell Beach, Sandy Bank Bay, Majors Bay and South Friars. All beaches are sandy with clear warm water and most are good for snorkelling.
St Kitts Airport (Robert L Bradshaw International) is about 12 miles away. British Airways fly twice a week direct to St Kitts from Gatwick each Wednesday and Saturday.
The capital Basseterre is about 20 minutes by car, and as the island is only 26 miles long nowhere is too far away!
St. Kitts seems to embody a kind of lush tropical paradise usually associated with the South Pacific. The atmosphere here is palpably luxuriant. It is an intoxicating blend of sunlight, sea, air and fantastically abundant vegetation. Stunning natural beauty, sunny skies, warm waters, and white sandy beaches combine to make St. Kitts one of the most seductive spots in the Caribbean.
While development has been of the highest quality, it has fortunately remained in low quantity, so St. Kitts remains uncrowded and unspoiled, famous around the world for excellent preservation of the ecosystems.
We love the genuine friendliness of the Kittitians, who have such a laid back approach to life in general, and we have always felt safe and secure on the island.
