A step above, Maui Kamaole is the only 3-STAR complex across from the Kamaole Beach Parks and adjacent to Wailea.
We sleep 2 Adults. We will accept 1 or 2 Children in Summer and over Christmas/New Years.
ENJOY OUR VACATION HOME AS YOUR OWN
Maybe you've endured some small, tired, marginally clean rentals in Hawaii. Not here! Maui Kamaole I-115 is our personal winter home. We want "Clean and Comfortable", and we want the same for you. This must work. Satisfied guests keep coming back!
We chose Maui Kamaole for its beauty and amenities -- low-rise buildings and amazingly low-density -- only 316 condos on 23 lavishly landscaped acres. Two *heated* pools, one with a waterfall. We chose this unit for its open plan, view, and its quiet location in the complex. We're steps from each pool yet shielded from all pool noise.
WE EMPLOY A LOCAL MANAGEMENT COMPANY
Their full staff is on call for you 24/7. The front desk at Maui Kamaole is open daily and the property has private security.
I-115 is beautifully tiled throughout. Both bathrooms are tiled and mirrored. The home-size kitchen has quality appliances, including a full-size refrigerator-freezer with icemaker and filtered water -- no need to lug bottled water. There's great air flow through jalousie windows in bedroom and living room. Sliders have night locks. Choose a breeze, ceiling fans or our regularly serviced and whisper-quiet Mitsubishi split-system air conditioning.
The bedroom is 200 sq. ft. with King bed. Watch the sun rise over Haleakala from the tree-shaded bedroom courtyard. Modern window treatments include blackout in the bedroom.
HD Cable TV and a smart Blu-ray for streaming or DVD's. Fast Broadband wireless. Full-size washer/dryer. Beach towels, chairs, umbrella, cooler. Assigned parking outside your door.
ENJOY OUTDOOR PRIVACY
There is no foot traffic past our hillside lanai. No automobile noise or headlights. There are no sight lines between the lanai. Our lanai is 200 sq. ft. with quality dining table, chairs and two chaise. Relax outside in the purple twilight. Shh...you can hear the surf.

About Sue Martin
My husband and I had vacationed in Hawaii for 20 years, enjoying two to four weeks a year on each of the four major islands. Then we found Maui Kamaole! We rented one year and bought I-115 condo six months later.

Why Sue Martin chose Kihei
We chose South Kihei for location near the Kamaole and Keawakapu beaches -- and the island's most luxe hotels in Wailea. We chose Maui Kamaole for its larger and newer construction and close ocean views. We like the intimate and uncrowded low-rise buildings, carefully positioned for privacy on 23 beautifully landscaped acres. We chose I-115 for its view, its cool, NW-facing lanai, and its location away from road or pool noise. We visit annually and are continually updating our Island Home.
What makes this Condo unique
When we turn off Kihei Road and start up the drive into Maui Kamaole we leave the busy world behind. It's all 'out there' -- shops, restaurants, beaches, activities -- but this is HOME for us, and for our guests, many of whom return annually. The complex is quiet. The landscaping and pools are beautifully kept. The views are gorgeous.

Good Rental Unit
This was a good rental unit. Kitchen is pretty well stocked with necessary equipment, including toaster, coffee grinder and drip machine, blender and utensils. It was also well supplied with child toys, beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkel masks. I recommend the 'back pool' with the waterfall. The owners were very helpful with information about the area once we were booked. I suggest bringing your own music player and DVD player if you want those things. Overall, a good stay in a good rental unit.
Aloha! I'm glad you and your little girl enjoyed our condo and Maui Kamaole. Were you unable to use the Sony Blu-ray player in the living room? I wish you'd contacted us about that. (Our son plays his music through the i-phone radio/charger speakers in the bedroom.) Is there something you'd like to see us add to our kitchen? We'd like to hear "well stocked" not "pretty well stocked'!
a bright, clean and lovely bottom floor unit. the description and pictures of the unit compared to the staying in the unit, is as advertised. No surprises. We were very glad to have chosen this unit. Everything you need to enjoy a great vacation in south Kihei. Ideal for this couple, having 2 bathrooms such a bonus!

Lovely well equipped condo in great location
This is a great condo in a lovely setting. We started every morning with a swim & snorkel at Kamaole Beach 3, which is less than a 10 minute walk away. Then a quick soak in the hot tub and off to enjoying the island. Kihei is in a central location making it easy to get to the upcountry or over to Lahaina.
The condo is situated in a nice location within the Maui Kamaole complex. It is an easy walk to either pool. The patio off the living room looks out into gardens and ocean but is also secluded from foot and car traffic. We loved having coffee in the morning listening to all the birds.
The photos are a very accurate representation of the condo. The kitchen has all the dishes, cookware and appliances you will need. The bed is very comfortable. And there all the "toys" you need to enjoy your stay - snorkel equipment, beach chairs, boogie boards, tennis rackets, and even a yoga mat.
The owner Sue is accommodating and easy to work with. I would definitely rent from her again.

Great price and location
This is our second stay at the same condo. Obviously we liked it or we wouldn't have come back. The entire transaction was flawless. Price, location, comfort and clean lines all played a part. We have visited Maui 6 times and once we found this lovation there is no other choice for us.

Great Place to call home while on Maui
What a peaceful and quite place your home away from home is. Mornings on the lanai were the best. Also I loved being able to enjoy the air and openness even when we were in the living area. On the days the trades blew, we enjoyed the perfect cross ventilation of air flow. The direction of the unit is wonderful, ocean view but no hot baking afternoon sun in the unit.
The new a/c unit was top notch. It didn't take any time to cool off the bedroom those few degrees for sleeping. And it was sooo quite. . We only had the living a/c on a couple of times during our 25 day stay.. It works great too. We just used the oscillating fan and ceiling fan in the living room during the day so we could leave the sliders open.
Maui Kamaole is a very well groomed complex. The layout of the units affords privacy. It's so easy to hop up the road to the hwy and be on our way to enjoy the island. I also enjoyed my long morning walks right out of the door to the beach and beach paths. We took afternoon strolls to the strip centers for meals. Several good choices within the first mile and more choices a tad further. A quick stroll put us on Kamaole II Beach Park to enjoy in the face sunsets.
Other thoughts: The cleaning service had the place spotless. Bed sleep great. Washer and dryer nicely vented no heat into the unit. Plenty of space. Well stocked kitchen nicely updated.
We look forward to renting this unit again.

A beautiful Home away from Home
Can't believe it's already a month since we arrived in Maui and I miss it already. This was our sixth visit and stay at the Maui Kamaole (first time in this unit and hopefully not last). The unit came with everything we needed to make it feel like home. The view was beautiful as well. We love Maui and feel like it is our home away from home. It's amazing how we can find something/someplace new to discover while there. We have usually done the sunrise viewing at Haleakala but this year we did the sunset and was it ever amazing. My hubby is into photography and he took thousands of pictures (not exaggerating on that) and we are still going thru them all. Hopefully we can return again SOON! and this unit is on the top of the list.
Upscale Shopping, Maui Ocean Center Aquarium, WHALE watching in season. Snorkeling and fishing boats from Kihei Small Boat Launch opposite Maui Kamaole. Casual and fine dining in South Kihei and Wailea.

Our management agency, located in Kihei, will confirm booking via email. They will have condo keys and parking pass waiting at the front desk for arriving guests. We employ this full service agency to be on call for our guests 24/7. Christmas bookings must be paid in full 60 days prior to the guest's arrival and are nonrefundable at that point. Payment by credit card NOT in US funds will be charged 5% on the total amount due.
