Vista Baia apartment is one of eight other apartments with a private shared pool. It is in an ideal location if you like the beach, with an underground car park and storage holding beach chairs, golf clubs and children's beach toys. Opposite the apartment are 2 beach bars and a restaurant next door. The lovely freeform pool and landscaped gardens make this a lovely setting. The apartment is fabulous if you just want to walk across the road to the beach or you can walk to Lagos Marina approx 25 minutes away. Alternatively, the Onda Bus Service stops opposite the condominium and is a regular route into Lagos or the Marina. The lounge is spacious and to a very high standard, and leads onto a balcony overlooking the pool. The outside space really makes this apartment, with the roof top terrace furnished with table, chairs and sunloungers. There is also some shade. The kitchen is kitted out to a very high specification and includes dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer.

We have owned the property 7 years from new and over the years we have many customers coming back year after year. It was important to Keith and I that all our properties are home from home. We entertain at home a lot. Keith is a good cook so it was important that our properties here in Portugal were kitted out to a very high standard. We used the experience of our friend who is a hotel interior designer to furnish our properties to a hotel standard. I think we are very honest people and we pride ourselves on telling our guests exactly how it is. I like to call all our enquiries, so they can ask me questions which I will always answer honestly, because I respect families save up all year to enjoy their precious holiday.
Why Owner chose Meia Praia
It is kept the a very high standard and the view is amazing, it is what keeps bringing back people year after year with the beach on the doorstep. It is next door to a restaurant, Palmaras golf club 5 minutes away , beach bars dotted along the beach with you can walk to, a shuttle bus that runs every hour to and from Lagos, and amazing roof top terrace to watch the sunset go down over a glass of wine.

Comfortable apartment with fabulous view from private roof terrace
Lovely apartment. Good quality kitchen implements although it would be nice to have more ovenproof dishes. Cleaning and towel change service and local support excellent. The crowning glory is the private roof terrace with great views of Meia Praia and from the Alvor lagoon to Ponte Piedade. Three flights of stairs to walk up from the underground garage no trouble for the able bodied.
Great stay as always !! except never slept in such bad sheets (nylon and bobberly) so uncomfortable.
My sheets are cotton not nylon and I have never had a complaint. I apologise if this is the case and I will look into this immediately and of course replace and bed linen. If you complained to the management when you were there they would have changed the bed sheets immediately. Regards Michelle

Good Quality property, in quiet location close to the beach
Property found very clean, and equipped to a high standard. Having your own private sun terrace above the apartment, gives plenty of privacy. A good well deserved break for my wife and I. This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this apartment.
FANTASTIC APARTMENT - BREATHTAKING VIEWS
Myself and my partner stayed in this apartment and loved it. The views of the Atlantic from the well appointed top balcony were stunning and it is within very close proximity to the fantastic Meia Praia beach. The apartment itself is very modern, well appointed, comfortable, impeccably clean with furnishings of a high spec. The apartment had a great swimming pool with plush and well maintained gardens.
We will definitely be returning to 2B Vista Bahia.
Special interest holidays:
You can see Palmaras Golf Club from the top balcony, so is ideal for golfers, with storage to keep any golf clubs in. The owners do have a mans and ladies set of clubs that can be borrowed on request. There are also another 6 golf courses all within easy access under 30 minutes drive away. Meia Praia is close to all watersports like windsurfing an kite surfing and there are many fabulous trips from the marina, which include a trip to see the local dolphins. There are walking clubs, which the owner can give you details about.
This area offers some of the most stunning beaches in the Algarve, each very different. Salema is popular with windsurfers and good for scuba diving and snorkelling. Burgau is flanked with cliffs, which beach is secluded and has a cliff path to walk down. There are plenty of beaches 10 minutes away or you can drive 25 minutes further round the coast. However, Meia Praia beach opposite is one of the loviest beaches around patrolled with life guards in peak season.
Faro is the nearest airport and most budget flights go there. It is recommended to book flights and car hire early as it does make the bookings cheaper, with better availability. The apartment is a 45 minute drive, the roads are relatively quiet and very well sign posted. There is also a train and bus service direct from the airport with stops very close the the apartment if you don't want to drive. The owner can be contacted for directions. You can quite happily manage without a car here.
You can walk into Lagos or the marina and takes about 25 mins or just hop on the local shuttle bus, which stops 100 yards away and runs every 30 to 40 minutes.
There is a small local supermarket a few minutes walk away, and plenty of larger ones, with fabulous fresh fish and meat counters just 5 minutes drive away. If you have no transport, the supermarkets will order you a taxi once you have done your shopping.
Booking Notes: A minimum of 7 nights booking in peak season. 20% deposit is required when booking. Balance is required 5 weeks prior to the holiday. A deposit £200 is required 7 days before you depart and this will be fully refunded provided there are no damages. For late bookings the full rental is required. Changeover Day: Flexible. The apartment will be available from 15.00 pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 10.00 am on the day of departure. We will of course make every effort to accommodate any special requirements.
