Why stay anywhere else!
Sheila and Don were amazing host. Their home is absolutely stunning and the photos don’t do the place justice. The 6 person hot rub was a nice place to relax after a long week. The bathrooms and bedrooms through the house are beautiful and the entire property is very clean! Loved that we had fresh baked donuts waiting for us upon arrival. There is not a thing we would change about our visit. We hope to make many return trips to celebrate love and life in this very comfortable and well appointed home.
This place was far beyond our expectations, words couldn't fulfill the entire experience. It was the best place we ever stayed at. Very homey and cozy so warm within. The owners graciously welcomed switch open arms, they definitely were pleasant and kind. We had all the accommodations needed and more, extremely clean and neat. I'd recommend this place anytime it's location is great too. Sheila's finishing touches of all the decor is absolutely beautiful. Thanks Sheila for a wonderful home and delicious donuts. This home surpasses a 5 star hotel
Just like home

Great place to stay with friends and family, plenty of room in the house for large group. Lots of space outside for kids to play. View of mountain is spectacular. Even with bad weather, the house is a great place to relax. WFI throughout house, tv in all bedrooms

THE AIRY GIRLS
We arrived on a dark and stormy night. When we were too frazzled to work the keypad, help arrived within 5 minutes! We finally opened the door on a home filled with flickering candles, miniature lights and a huge box of delicious donuts. It was so magical for this family of apartment dwellers. Our morning views, when we finally pulled ourselves off the comfy beds, were: bright light shining in the windows, at least five different types of birds at the feeders, cushioned chairs and a porch swing, fall decorations, so much land for the kids to play. The detail in the interior decorating was beautiful, a sofa and arm chair for relaxing by the fire. We loved sitting at the kitchen counter to eat and play games. A games cupboard was beside the sofa. My 7 year old got up in the morning and said, If the owner ever wants to sell, please call him first." And he means it! I haven't even gotten to the hot tub and fire pit. There was a full moon when we were there, shining over the mountain as we roasted hotdogs and made S'mores. My daughter and I even heard wolves howling one night. We toured Ausable Chasm and drove to Lake Placid. We have already booked to go back! I can't say enough about this place and the kindness of the owners.
Truly felt like a peaceful retreat nestled around the Adirondack Mt. The house has an inviting warmth from the decor and graciousness expressed from Sheila, the owner.
The amenities included a hot tub view of the mountain, bon fire pit near a water fountain landscape pond and many yard games to enjoy the fellowship of family and friends. Laughter filled the property. For our family, a bonus amenity was a handicap restroom.
The visit was a delight to embrace the beauty both inside and outside the home. Sheila allowed herself to be available for any questions, needs or concerns.
She pours out an abundant of love and care to this retreat to bring enjoyment to others. And you will feel blessed by Shelia's hospitable heart. We have a strong desire to return another time.
