Amazing experience! Gracious Host!
Wow! My family had an incredible time on the Yacht. It is spacious and comfortable. What a wonderful way to get a taste of adventure and luxury. Tim was such a gracious host - easy communication - thoughtful about when and where he took us on our excursion - and patient when we took a nice long swim in the bay. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the kitchen was perfect for cooking a nice meal for my family of 7, and the sound system allowed us to have a soundtrack for our entire journey. We could not have enjoyed our experience more. Thank you Tim for your kindness and hospitality!
Arlene, we enjoyed having and your family aboard the Mothership for your mother and father-in-laws surprise. We thank you for taking such good care of our ship during your stay. Hopefully next time it will be longer. Safe Harbor.
Fun and relaxing overnight on The Mothership!
Tim and Valerie are fabulous hosts! They were extremely welcoming to our large party, and made our 1-night stay aboard The Mothership unforgettable. With thunderstorms in the forecast, Tim watched the weather closely, and communicated with us ahead of our arrival via email and text to make sure we arrived early and had the best opportunity to get out on the water for our cruise and swimming stop as planned. Valerie gave us a thorough tour of the (very impressive) boat upon arrival, helped us unpack and get organized, pointed out the best spots on the boat to enjoy the cruise, offered her photographer skills, and made sure we were safe and comfortable during our swimming stop on the bay. Back in dock, we enjoyed watching the sunset from the expansive upper deck, and the salon was beyond spacious enough for all of us to hang out once the thunderstorms arrived. The galley is equipped with anything you could need in a kitchen, which made dinner and breakfast prep on board a breeze. The bedrooms are roomy and as comfortable as a nice hotel. Overall, a spectacular and highly recommended stay if you are looking for a special weekend on the Chesapeake!
Thank you, We were happy to have your group of young ladies aboard and you all took very good care of our ship. We would welcome you back anytime. Good luck to the bride to be!
Great birthday out on the water.
In short my party of 6 spent an amazing weekend (Aug4-6 2017) aboard The Mothership. Even before we boarded The Mothership, Tim's correspondence was attentive and provided good suggestions. He was focus on making sure that we had a good time and enjoyed the yacht. We boarded Friday afternoon with a greeting from Valerie and Tim. They were generous in showing us the accommodations, rooms and various features. Tim also gave us a history of the yacht that was very interesting. Friday evening was just perfect as all of us enjoyed the fly bridge with music, drinks and food we brought on board. We had no desire to go anywhere else. Saturday we were supposed to go to the Eastern Shore balloon Fest but were so comfortable with the accommodations we simply stayed on board until it was time to cast off to St. Michael's for dinner. We hired Tim and Valerie to cruise down the bay and enjoyed getting out on the water. Tim and Valerie were once again very gracious in making sure we were comfortable and enjoying the day. After having a nice dinner in St. Michael's we cast off once again just in time for Sunset on the way back. Tim was full of knowledge as we listened to different stories and music on the trip back to the marina. Once there Tim and Valerie made sure we had everything we needed before departing. Finally Sunday came and it was time to disembark The Mothership and say good bye to our hosts. One couple was so impressed that they asked if the yacht was available for the Naval Academy graduation next year to take her son out on. Afterwards we hung out for an hour to converse with Tim and Valerie before departing...
This was a weekend I will not forget, a weekend with close friends, perfect weather, a beautiful yacht and very generous hosts. Thank you Tim and Valerie...
Thank you Dave for your gracious review. We also enjoyed meeting you and your guests. We were very impressed with the care you and your guest took of The Mothership. We are very happy that you and your guests enjoyed your birthday celebration, you are gladly welcome back any time.
Tim & Val
A different kind of weekend.
Tim and Val were great. They wanted to make sure our stay was what we expected. And, it was. For a different experience (instead of a plain old hotel) try this, and include a cruise on the Chesapeake.
Thank you Dennis, you and your family were great guest. I thought that with all the children and Boston it might be too much, but it all went fine, we enjoyed everyone.
A beautiful evening on the Bay
Tim and Valerie were great hosts. Everything was ready for us when we arrived, and they made certain that we were all comfortable aboard. Ten of us cruised to St. Michael's and then had dinner that was easy to prepare in the large galley and dock grill. We had 5 for an overnight stay: the staterooms were comfortable and although there was a slight musty scent, everything was clean for our arrival.
such a great spot!
We rented the mothership for my nephews graduation from the naval academy. What a beautiful boat, plenty of room for everyone. We had lunch brought to the boat and we all ate and relaxed on the boat. Tim and his wife were lovely and helped us get settled.
