Guestbook comments from the owner

Lovely location, nice cottage, very peaceful and we found it easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. - Mr and Mrs Bowen Essex

We have spent an enjoyable week in this lovely, cosy and comfortable cottage. We loved the gardens and the fishing lake. We’ve explored the cuckoo trail and the south downs with our friends and visited Eastbourne Theatres and the Bandstand. Can't wait to return next year. - Mrs Cook, Kent

Fantastic cottage, fantastic weather, what more can we say. A day spent on the South Downs which was enjoyed by all, we even managed to see a few lambs being born and we will remember he lazy days at the beach. We will be back soon. - Alex, Tom, Abi and Archie.

I have visited many holiday cottages and sometimes they don’t match up to expectations, but this definitely did, we had a lovely time. - S Le Meignan France.

Super cottage, great ambiance, inspiring countryside. - Bueving Family Holland

Very quiet place to stay

  • 3 of 5

Generally all good. However bed linen needs renewing particularly duvets and pillows. One of the beds is very soft and could do with being replaced.

Awesome

  • 4 of 5

Made arrangements well in advance and the owner was so great to deal with. Arrived to find a lovely little cottage in a nice quiet area not far from Polegate. The place was clean and well cared for. We only had one small issue and the owner's son fixed it for us immediately. Thanks Gordon, for the great place to stay. A lovely cottage for a small family. Hope to come back to visit again.
