Villa in Seillans, Provence, France - Secluded Yet Only A Short Drive From The Beautiful Village Of Seillans
About Property Manager
I live in Hampshire with my family, and have been holidaying in the South of France for 15 years. I fell in love with the area and bought the villa 5 years ago.
Property Manager purchased this Villa in 2008
Why Property Manager chose Seillans
Seillans is situated in one of the most beautiful areas in the south of France and has remained unspoiled. Its natural charm lends itself to a relaxed and enjoyable holiday. What drew us to this particular village was the stunning layout of the villa in its woodland surrounding and multiple relaxation sun terraces and patios. The close proximity to the lakes, gorges, historic villages (Mons being a spectacular example), and cities such as Cannes and Nice, means there's plenty to do for a day out in the local area.
What makes this Villa unique
We love the fact that we can go to the villa with friends and family in small or large groups, and there is plenty of space for everyone to get along. Being parents we have upgraded the property to allow for babies and small children as they are our main priority when on holiday. For example we have built a child proof gate and fence (balustrade) around the pool area. The entire property is also enclosed making it both private and secure. Another great feature is the separate annex living and sleeping quarters - perfect for families or groups to spread out across the villa. We have now rented out the villa for a few summers and we've been very grateful to have had some really great feedback from lots of our guests, so we are looking forward to more families and groups enjoying the villa in 2016 and beyond!
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
We had a really good two weeks in Rob's nice Villa. Great house with everything you need to enjoy a good summer escape. Our family of 5 couples and two small kids had plenty of space both to socialize and get some peace and quiet. Kitchen was superb for preparing big meals. Outside seating excellent. Pool area big and relaxing. Ping pong table was used every day!! To summarize, do not hesitate to rent this lovely house in beautiful surroundings!!
** Total Perfection **
This was our second visit to this villa as we had enjoyed the first trip so much, so decided this time to use it to its full potential.
We came mob handed ( 3 generations of our family) and it was absolutely perfect. As my wife and I had young twin babies at the time, we decided to take over the 2 bedroom apartment. This was ideal for us, as we did not want to disturb the rest of the family with any crying in the night, plus we also took advantage of having our own kitchen that we could take over with babies bottles and equipment.
The rest of the family used up the 5 bedrooms in the main house it was just perfect. At no point did we ever feel under each others feet, in fact it was the opposite, there was just plenty of space for everyone.
The daytimes would be spent around the pool area, which was totally secure for the children, plenty of sun beds and also a lovely shaded chill out area, where the young ones could have an afternoon nap and the adults could sample the local rose wine.
Evenings were just as great around the other side of the villa. Family members would be playing petanque (boules) or table tennis, whilst others prepared the BBQ around the stunning 14 seat outdoor dining table.
The villa really does have everything you could possibly want and easily accommodates 3 families. The local village of Seillans is absolutely stunning and is a must visit.
I would also strongly recommend the 2 local vinyards just a 10 minute walk up the road, to purchase your wine (after some serious tasting first) and some incredible local Michelin star restaurants.
Will definitely be returning next year !
Stunning villa, and fun for all the family.
We spent a week at the Villa in July after our wedding in Belgium. With 10 adults, 4 children and a baby, we filled all beds and a cot, yet always felt like we had plenty of space. The villa is lovely and the facilities are all great - we had everything we needed. The pool was perfect for adults and kids...and VERY well used! Kevin, the local contact, was great, as was his wife, very helpful. We explored the local area a lot and really enjoyed it. The markets in Fayence were definitely worth a visit.
The villa was selected as the venue for an overdue family gathering, which would be our first visit to this part of France. Situated within its own grounds and not overlooked, it enjoys a peaceful setting but is only 5 mins drive from the village of Seillans. It was well equipped and clean. The villa comfortably accommodated 14 people and we all settled into lazy days by the pool or gathered around the large outdoor table to enjoy some memorable meal times. You will need a car but the property is only a short drive from Nice, the coast and Lac St Cassien. The nearby villages of Seillans and Fayence are worth repeated visits to enjoy market days and the local restaurants. In short we had a great holiday here and would recommend the villa to all ages.
5* Stunning villa in a beautiful location
We were a group of friends looking for somewhere special to celebrate a friend's 40th birthday.
This villa near the beautiful village of Seillans couldn't have been more perfect for us. All the rooms are beautifully furnished, the living areas equally so - not to mention nice and spacious.
We all love to cook so we were delighted with the large kitchen, with everything you could need to cater for a large group. Much of our time was spent around the pool or playing ping-pong and boules. That said, the surrounding area is gorgeous and worth exploring... especially Seillans. There are also lots of out-door activities to entertain for the more adventurous... we were just too comfortable to leave!!
Would not hesitate to give this 5 Stars :)
An excellent holiday home
What a fantastic house! This is the 13th year of our two families holidaying together in France and this is our favourite house.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, the pool area is superb and the addition of extra outdoor seating, both by the pool and outside the living room, is a lovely extra touch.
The kitchen contained everything we needed and Fabien, the local contact, was very friendly and helpful.
Thanks for letting us stay - we hope to make a return trip sometime.
