Our place is a manufactured trailer home with a 15' x 25' framed addition on a cement slab which is the living room, everything updated and remodeled including the windows, flooring, plumbing, bathroom, kitchen and electrical, barely can tell its a manufactured home anymore but just want to be upfront, please see the many pictures. Ideal for a maximum of 5 people. Pratt Lake is a 180 acre all sports lake with a very nice sand bar to park the boat at and enjoy the sun or go to the private beach right up the private drive. The water line directly in front of the cottage is mucky and not good for kids to swim in and out of which is why there is a private beach for residents and guests of our small lakeside home area of Lakepoint Drive. There is maybe 20 homes that have access to the private beach and most days there isn't anyone there. Again, just want to be upfront and honest about everything so there's no surprises. We rent cottages in other states a few times a year and know what its like when owners don't include information that may or may not would have influenced whether we would rent their place or not. Then Standish has the Saganing casino (small local casino), then through a few nice small lakeshore towns up to Tawas City which has many niche shops and a fantastic downtown to walk through. Then to West Branch that again has a nice downtown and several big box stores on your way back to Pratt Lake.
Two and a half hours from the Greater Detroit or Grand Rapids areas, far enough away "up north" but yet close enough to home.
We do need a minimum of 10 days notice for rental requests because we use the cottage as much as possible and need to have a 10 day window to arrange to get the place cleaned and totally ready for renters.
