This large, well equipped, two bedroom apartment is a great holiday home for those who like tranquility, green surroundings and plenty of outdoor space. Comfortable and quiet, yet within 3 min walk from the town centre and the nearest beach, this place offers a feeling that you're 'away from it all' while being very central. It comprises 2 bedrooms, an open plan living room-diner, a kitchen & bathroom and 2 large, furnished terraces. The north terrace includes two dining tables, chairs, a swing for children; and offers plenty of space for alfresco dining, relaxation and children's play. A hallway leads to all other rooms - the bedrooms are on the left while the bathroom, kitchen-diner and living room are on the right. The living room enjoys plenty of sunlight all day, as it has large sliding doors that open up to the south balcony. This balcony is also accessible from the master bedroom and has a lovely garden as well as (limited) sea view. The master bedroom includes a king-size bed, a large built-in mirrored wardrobe, bedside cabinets; while the twin bedroom has two single beds, a mirrored wardrobe and two bedside cabinets. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom has an extra large bath tub, with a shower. The apartment is comfortable, furnished with quality furniture, has lovely wooden floors; 'smart' TV, free WiFi and own parking . The south balcony offers total privacy - here you can sunbathe and relax in peace. This apartment is ideal for a family of 4, two couples, or 4 friends. The nearest beach is 150m away; it offers a mixture of fine pebbles/sand (great for kids), a large pebbly area and a man-made section. The beach is furnished and lined with cafes and restaurants. The pedestrian, medieval Old Town and the main town square with its cafes and a farmers market are 5 minutes walk away. Herceg Novi is a town steeped in history and local culture, known as a ‘town of artists’ with a sunny micro-climate which boasts over 200 sunny days per year. It enjoys music and art festivals throughout the year. The historic cities of Dubrovnik & Kotor (both World Heritage sites) are only 50 km away. Two international airports (Dubrovnik & Tivat) are only an hour drive away.

Why Daria chose Herceg Novi
This apartment is a part of my family house which was built in the 1980's. Built in a traditional style and recently renovated, the house is a work of art; each stone was shaped by hand. Passers-by often stop and admire the stonework.This is an old neighbourhood which enjoys plenty of greenery; close to the seafront, pedestrian Old Town and the commercial town centre, but at the same time this is quiet, family friendly area. The apartments has a private entrance and occupies own floor, so privacy is guaranteed. Our guests love the place, here's the latest review: " Verified Stay: Lovely, private apartment, close to the old town center 5/5 Herzeg Novi is known as a cultural city. There were bookshops and galleries on almost every corner in the old town, which has a medieval fort, and parts of the city walls date back to Roman times. There were also concerts and music in the square every night.The old town is lovely, and just 2 minutes walk away from the apartment. We swam in a different location every day. The water is clean and clear, even just below the city walls. The beaches are either stone or concrete, so swimming shoes are recommended. There is private parking with the property, but it is a little tricky. A small car, preferably with good height underneath is recommended. We flew in through Dubrovnik. Crossing the border in mid-day in July took almost three hours. Going back early in the morning (6.30) took only 10 minutes. Our host was lovely. Wonderful location, great hosting, comfy apartment
I stayed in this apartment with 4 friends, we're in our 30's and wanted to be close to the beaches and the nightlife, but still somewhere quiet and away from the noise at night. This apartment was brilliant in that and every other respect. Comfortable, lots, of space, equipped with everything we needed and more, plus a great big terrace for eating and relaxing outside. There is also another large terrace overlooking the garden if you want real privacy, this is the place to sunbathe or meditate, surrounded by lots of lovely greenery.The owners let us pick tomatoes, cucamber and green peppers from their organic garden which was cool. We loved the garden, really authentic, lovingly looked after and full of surprising sub-tropical species. Inside the apartment I particularly liked the big bath and our bed was super large and comfy. The medieval Old town is 2min walk away, it's traffic-free as is the town centre, so a great place to enjoy your breakfast, coffee or dinner. In short this place is highly recommended. .... Lucy 2016

Quality, comfortable family apartment
This apartment is well furnished, spacious, and enjoys plenty of outside living space (a balcony, a front and a side terrace). It is a very comfortable place which comprises: a living room-diner & kitchen with access to the balcony; master bedroom (also with access to the balcony); twin bedroom, corridor, bathroom & external utility room on the large front terrace. The location is fantastic and convenient for everything - shopping, beach, easy access to the historic Old Town. The place is quiet at night and safe for children, who can play safely outside the flat, on the terrace. There is a family friendly and reasonably priced restaurant about 100m away. The nearest supermarket is about a minute walk away. The apartment is on the ground floor of a lovely family house, stone built in the traditional style, about 40 years old. It is surrounded by terraces, a small flower & plants garden in front, and a larger fruit & veg garden accessible to guests on the south side. The house comprises 4 apartments, all with private entrances, all sea-facing, recently renovated, and all enjoying lovely views. This apartment has a limited but lovely sea-view; however, the green garden view and the privacy it enjoys totally compensate for it. The nearest beach is about 3min walk away; however coming back can take double that, as you'll be climbing up some stairs, great for improving fitness. We loved Herceg Novi and this apartment. The hosts communicated well and were very accommodating.
Great holiday accommodation
We were looking for somewhere quiet but not remote, in fact close to everything, including restaurants and great beaches. This apartment was a real find in every respect. It's comfortable, well equipped, has everything one need on a holiday. We were 2 couples and appreaciated the privacy and space the place offered, especially the two terraces. The owner was very responsive, we had great communication. Great holiday accommodation.
My husband and spent a week in this great apartment which offers plenty of privacy and space. It's comfortable, quiet, well equipped, surrounded by greenery and the location is excellent. The sea is 2min walk away - once there you can access many small & medium size beaches by walking along the seafront. Bars and restaurants line the promenade if you walk west, but there is a quiet part with some wild beaches to the east of the house. The town centre is about 3min walk away. It has only a very limited sea-view because it is on the ground floor but this is more than compensated for by the tranquility and privacy it offers. The owners are proactive, kind and helpful and the apartmetn absolutely great for a couple or a family.
We had a lovely time. The flat was excellent - very clean, warm and cosy. Just what we wanted. The people were very friendly and looked after us very well. It's a beautiful place in overlooking a wonderful bay. We'll almost certainly be going back and would recommend it to anyone.

definitely not in this apartment!
Describe of this apartment showed in the internet is extremly missing reality!!! We have booked this apartment for 1 week, but we shorten by two days our stay in this place beacuse it was extremaly unpleasant!!! Why unpleasant: 1) apartment was smelt deep cigaret smoke; 2) parking near apartment was extreemly crowded. Free place in July after long trip to Dubrovnik or Kotor was impossible, one short street was parked both sides, no place anyway, everyday! Additionally one day (probably) some local person scratched my new car because I parked probably his place; 3) close beach is covered by concreat surface, is dirty an unpleasant, 4) the most important: sourroundins of this house is constant building yard!!!, steel bars, some building materials everywhere, hundreeds of bricks, concreat, not finished fans - souroundings is rediculus!!! After we decide to shorten our stay because of mentioned facts owner offered us €100 return, but for me it was definitely the worst vacation in my life.

There are many small beaches in Herceg Novi, within walking distance of the apartment. Hereceg Novi has a 7km long waterfront promenade lined with beaces about 3min walk away from the apartment. The western half of the promenade is more vibrant - lined with furnished beaches, cafes, restaurants and bars.The part looking east is quieter and there are some natural beaches there for those who are seeking a more peaceful setting. The restaurants along the sea-front offer tasty and affordable local cuisine. The beaches are a mixture of pebbles, sand, rock and man-made. Some offer water sports facilities and almost all have beach furniture.
The nearest international airports are: Dubrovnik and Tivat - each at an hour's drive they're almost equidistant from Herceg Novi. We can can arrange taxi transfers from both airports and can help you with car hire.
Herceg Novi is ideally situated for visiting many places of interest including several Unesco protected world heritage towns: Dubrovnik, Kotor, Perast, the Holy Mount Lovcen, the old Royal capital Cetinje; as well as nightlife hot spots like Budva.
While being in a quiet area the apartment is so centrally located that all the amenities one may need are only minutes walk away. The mountains above the town are also easily accessible for walking, trekking and climbing.
