Studio Sleeps 2, In Savannah Georgia Historic District
About Mary Anderson
I'm Mary and I have lived in Savannah since 2002. I love it here! I am a work-at-home mom, licensed real estate agent and Historic District vacation rental manager which is something I really enjoy.
Mary Anderson purchased this Cottage in 2015
Why Mary Anderson chose Beach Institute
I chose Savannah because of the big city feel of the events and tourist traffic combined with a small town sense of knowing people everywhere I go. I love the beauty of the relatively tiny one-square mile walkable downtown Historic District area. I love the familiarity of everything here combined with the constant influx of new energy from the college and the visitors from all over the world.
What makes this Cottage unique
I have never seen anything quite like this Historic District cottage compound! What a great opportunity to help me meet the housing needs for the 12 million tourists + executive housing phone calls I get daily. And since I used to live on the same block I knew first hand this was a great location. I get calls every day from people who do not need a lot of space and want convenient lodging in the Historic District with a low price. This is it!

Great for the price.
The size was perfect for what we needed. The quarters were old, but had been redone to help modernize. Since we did not spend a lot of time there, it was good.
Memorial Day stay
Very nice. Very small. Clean. Beautiful neighborhood.
An Excellent Small Savannah Experience
My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay in this small Carriage House off of Jones street. Jones street was the most beautiful street in Savannah and within great walking distance of many attractions in the historic district. I recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxed and coxy Savannah getaway.
very close to picking up the free hop on-hop off trolleys,
Very clean and comfortable, had all we needed. allowed us to visit and see the city without driving. In a beautiful part of the historic district,
Perfect little cottage
Perfect location and very cute and clean little cottage! Mary was also very helpful and attentative! It is located in a beautiful area and within walking distance to everything!!
Everything we needed!
We had a wonderful stay! The tiny cottage was adorable and on a beautiful Savannah street. We could easily walk to everything in the historic disctrict and we loved having breakfast in the courtyard. The cottage included many great restaurant recommendations and had basic toiletries. We’d definitely stay here again.
This cottage is behind another cottage on the same property, with a shared courtyard. Its technical address is in the Lane which is an alley (between Jones Street and Charlton Street). There are 2 entrances to the cottage, one in the Lane (which is an alley between two major streets) and the other in the courtyard. You can use the Lane entrance to load bags in and out of your car straight into that door if you want. You can use the courtyard entrance on Jones Street for all other comings and goings, via the side gate next to the main cottage on the triplex compound property. There is no parking in the Lane so free parking on Jones Street and using the Jones St gate to the courtyard is ideal for the majority of your purposes.
