About Tracy Shillito
Mark and Tracy Shillito have lived in York for many years. They moved to Kexby 11 years ago with their three children. Living in Kexby has allowed them to indulge their hobbies such as gardening, cycling, running as well as property renovation. The Coach House has been converted from outbuildings into a beautiful detached dwelling sitting adjacent to the family's home. Living next door they are on hand to advise on local amenities and attractions and ensure that you have an enjoyable stay.
Tracy Shillito purchased this Cottage in 2006
Why Tracy Shillito chose York
We moved to Kexby as it is situated in the countryside and we were keen to live in more rural surroundings, but is still very close to York (5 miles) for work and school. Our property is in a quiet setting without being remote whilst at the same time has very easy access to local amenities.
What makes this Cottage unique
Kexby is close to York city centre and is also conveniently situated for the east coast, Leeds, the Dales/Moors and local walks for people who enjoy an active break. There are several villages nearby which have good pubs/restaurants and other local amenities so everything required for an enjoyable holiday is close to hand. The Coach House has wi-fi.

A week of relaxation
We chose Rockstone Cottage as a base for a week of sightseeing around Yorkshire, with the ability to truly relax. It didn't fail on either score. Well located to get around the city and county in a peaceful country location, it surpassed our expectations. Simply furnished, it had everything we needed, and with delicious food in country pubs nearby, it was easy to eat out and just as easy to stay in to eat. Tracey and Mark, as the on-site owners are clearly past masters at looking after guests - from the delicious welcoming scones to the general advice on the area.
Lovely review from another happy guest.
Spacious and comfortable .Very well equipped and machines to operate e.g.wash machine ,TV. Etc.
Well placed to experience the area round this part of Yorkshire, good medical centre.
It is a perfect place to return to after a day of travel and sightseeing.
The hosts were friendly and welcoming.
I would recommend it without hesitation.
