Property is fantastic, ideal location for zooming around between Limassol and Larnaca and everything
Great villa, very quiet, everything that you need, almost in your own little world in terms of privacy despite Maroni being a sizeable village/ town.
Must have a car but if you do its in a super location.
Dear Cropper Family

Bellissima casa in villaggio tipico
Assolutamente da raccomandare, thanks a lot Linda for letting us stay in your lovely house!
It was a pleasure to welcome you and your family to the villa and I am happy that you enjoyed your stay with us. Hope to see you again.
Fabulous villa in charming location
We enjoyed a lovely restful holiday. Linda couldn't have been more helpful both before and during the holiday.
The villa is well appointed and spacious and although it lacked wi-fi we understand that this is on the way. The setting is wonderful with a distant view of the Mediterranean, a village wine bar and mini mart within 5 minutes walk, and some great restaurants within an easy drive. For those who are interested we saw: bee-eaters, turtle doves and a peregrine falcon from the terrace as well as many lizards.
Dear Clare Pete and Family
I am so happy that you enjoyed your stay with us and look forward to welcoming you back on your next trip to Cyprus.
Lovely property in great location!
We loved everything about this property - particularly the comfortable, spacious accommodation and the pretty village location. The twin bedded annexe was perfect for our adult daughter and her friend to get away from us! The kitchen was well equipped and the water cooler was a very welcome touch. Not too far to travel to attractions and amenities. Our favourites were the waterpark near Ayia Napa (albeit rather expensive) and the archaeological site of Ancient Kourion. We don't particularly like towns and cities, but the Pieredes museum in Larnaca was a nice surprise, and the monastery in Ayia Napa was a beautiful and peaceful contrast right in the middle of the 24 hour party zone. Plenty of choice for eating out - we loved Retro Tavern in Kalavasos, visiting 3 times in our two weeks. Also the Old Coffee Shop in Maroni, Nostos Taverna in Tochni and Koumbaris Fish Tavern in Zygi where the fish meze was amazing! Plenty of nice beaches, including a small quiet one with basic facilities just down the road. The owner was very friendly and helpful before and during our holiday without intruding on our privacy in any way. Thank you Linda for allowing us to stay in your lovely home.
Dear Clare and family
It was a pleasure meeting you all and I am so glad you enjoyed your stay with us.
Thank you for your informative review and kind words and we very much look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

spacious comfy accommodation in a quiet village
Had a wonderful 10day stay at the end on April 2017 with 2 of my sisters.
The house is so large we did not use all of the living accommodation and could easily of lost each other. There is also plenty of outdoor areas including a place to park the car.
The kitchen is well equipped and the swimming pool is large enough for a dip and small enough that it is not freezing cold.
The owner Linda is always on hand by phone for any advice needed.
The village is small but very friendly - one can buy homemade marmalade from the lady living next to the Teacher House.
The house is well positioned to explore the whole of the island.
Would we go back ? Yes, especially at the time we went as the weather was just right - sun in the day time but cool enough at night to be able to sleep.
Beautiful home in a charming traditional village with views and a convenient location.
We spent a wonderful Christmas holiday at "Emlinz Retreat" in Maroni. The weather was uncommonly rainy, but the house was a very comfortable place for our family of five (parents with three young-adult children) to relax and prepare our own holiday fare. The house is traditional and charming, but also fully functional and spacious. In are many rooms, plus the annex across the courtyard, so there was more than enough space for all in our group. The kitchen is large and fully-equipped and we put it to full use with holiday baking. The dining room off the kitchen is huge -- with large windows on three sides it was a lovely place to watch the rain or to look for rainbows over the fields leading to the sea.
Maroni is a quaint rural town and the house is very near the postcard-pretty village center. There is a church and a very convenient little grocery store just a few minutes WALKING from the house. There is also a charming little coffee shop that serves beer and wine, as well as coffee and tea, just a block from the house.
Maroni is close to the sea (3 minutes in a car to the nearest beach) and the fishing harbor town of Zygi which have many great tavernas. Maroni is also convenient ( 5 min driving) from the main east-west highway. It's extremely peaceful and quiet in Maroni, but not far-removed from sites or services. It was a great home-base for exploring the whole island.
The house was immaculate when we arrived and Linda made an extra effort to include decorations for the holidays. Linda was a wonderful host who care of every detail in advance and made our stay comfortable and easy.
Dear Barry and Lettie
Thank you so much for the lovely review. I am thrilled that you had a great vacation despite the weather and found everything you needed in the house to make your Christmas vacation complete. There is a certain magic to be found at Emlinz Retreat and I'm glad you and your family enjoyed your adventure.
With warm regards
