Its 2 terraces allow guests to sit outside in comfort and enjoy the Alicante weather. It is within easy walking distance of the beach, restaurants, shops, tram station and the museums and galleries. The front door leads into the modern kitchen and dining room and on to the lounge and main terrace. Upstairs there is another terrace and downstairs you'll find the main bedroom and the bathroom.

Shabby and tired accommodation with bad access. Not suitable for young or elderly
1 Taxi driver dubious about dropping us off in the area, proved right as it was not a safe area. Further more we had to negotiate 2 steep flights of step (approx 50-60 steps) and walk through the bar area which again was steep with a number of steps. The area was noisy and did not feel inviting, in fact not an area you would venture into at night. Noise went on until 2am and could be clearly heard in property.
2 On arrival we were told not to "play " with air con controls as temperature set at optimum level, air con served only the lounge area and fan in bed room inadequate. We were further told to be quiet at night as there were 3 Dutch girls downstairs and we would disturb them!
3 The 2 single beds were pushed together as space was at a premium and access to the bathroom was compromised. Bedding was of poor quality and mattresses covered by old ill fitting plastic coated protectors.
4 The bedroom was cluttered and bathroom shabby with cleaning products and old cloths thrown under the sink.
5 One bath towel and hand towel, again of poor quality, provided for a 10 day stay and no mention of a change of bedding.
6 Access to bedroom via curved stone stairs and access to upper patio by open stone staircase with no handrail, not suitable for children or elderly.
7 Minimal kitchen equipment.
8 There was an infestation of ants in the kitchen on work surfaces and on patio from lounge, this patio far from being a place to relax was furnished with a shabby seating unit and plants were overgrown .We reported the ant problem to Tim and his response was to spray surfaces with abnoxious substance stating that it worked last time. He further told me not to leave food on surfaces as 1 ant would come out ,find it and signal to its mates to follow! With regard to patio his attitude was "what do you expect its summer in Alicante" I felt his attitude quite dismissive and not at all helpful.
9 By the 4th night we strongly felt we could no longer stay at the property and that Tim was not a person with whom we could communicate. I called Homeaway but was told that they needed to speak to Tim. After 4 hours of no contact I booked alternative accommodation incurring further cost which proved to be excellent and we were able to enjoy the remainder of our holiday. I had hoped that the owners would compensate but despite numerous calls to Home Away the owner has not responded.
10 On departure Tim did appear and again was confrontational and unapologetic
Gorgeous- full of rustic charm!
Quaint cute and cosy , old town ambience, steps to reach it as on side of mountain..very atmospheric
Lots of bars & restaurants all around you .
5 minutes (down hill) to the lovely beach
Would visit again for sure !
Owner Tim very helpful
Thanks You !
Old Town Heaven
The apartment exceeded my expectations in terms of accommodation and location.
Exceptionally well appointed for the City Center and Beach. The accommodation was well kitted out, and the basics were provided which meant we didn't have to buy all those little things that you need like salt, bin bags etc. I would highly recommend this property.
Great Spanish Property
A really lovely townhouse apartment located in a really lovely part of the old town.
We loved the decor throughout and it felt quite spacious which I don't think comes across in the photos. You get plenty of sun on the 2 terraces too.
Location wise it was perfect - 5 minute walk into the centre of Alicante where there are lots of bars and restaurants. About a 10 minute walk to the beach.
There are quite a few steps on the way back to the house though so not appropriate for anyone with walking difficulties.
Alicante is such a nice place - I was worried it may be a bit 'Brits abroad' but that wasn't the case at all it's still very authentically Spanish.
I wouldn't hesitate to book here again.
Lovely apartment in the middle of the old town.
We had a great short break in this lovely apartment, it had everything we needed and nice and clean too, short walk's to many restaurant's and bar's, would certainly return in the future.
Many thank's to Tim for the smooth booking and helpful info before we arrived and also info after we arrived.
Very noisy due to adjacent building work and bar. The property itself was a good size and the terraces are the main attraction. Decor won't be to everyone's taste. Lots of steps to negotiate in getting to the property given its location.
