This recently built luxury 2 bedroom 2-bathroom south-facing apartment sleeps 4 people and forms part of the superb restoration of Lyncourt, a beautiful Victorian Villa set in peaceful mature grounds in a magnificent position 400 feet above Meadfoot Beach. The apartment's view of Torbay is truly jaw-dropping with a large garden terrace and free access to the lawns and mature grounds. A roof terrace is accessed via a spiral staircase from a light-well (atrium) in the centre of the apartment. The living space is open to the garden terrace through two double patio doors and includes a luxury fully-fitted kitchen. The two double bedrooms at the rear of the apartment are a few steps up to a hallway from the living room. There are two bathrooms each with WC. One is ensuite to the master bedroom the other is opposite the second bedroom. Meadfoot Beach and all the beautiful coastal walks are directly accessible on foot from the apartment. Torquay Seafront is only 15 minutes walk away.

The views are astounding and access to the beach and coastal walks a short walk from the apartment. The area is lovely and the mature grounds of Lyncourt allow you to enjoy the feeling of space and freedom in beautiful surroundings. Lyncourt is a Victorian Villa which has been beautifully restored. The garden apartments are newly built providing the best of modern accommodation and facilities in a mature setting. The bustling Torquay seafront and high street are 15 minutes walk away so you can choose the peace and tranquility or the excitement that Torquay has to offer.
What makes this Apartment unique
I love this apartment for its comfort, unique location and views. The whole of Torbay dominates the view from the living space, the terrace and gardens. There is always something happening to watch on the water. The modern kitchen space allows me to cook when I feel like it and the many restaurants in the immediate area allow you the freedom to eat out in many charming locations. These include Langtry's, a high class restaurant in the Osborne Hotel, while the Brasserie serves lunch and light snacks. There is also a very adventurous cafe on Meadfoot Beach offering excellent refreshments and Tapas with wine on weekend evenings. I have looked at many properties in and around Torquay and I can confidently say that I have never seen anything that comes near to possessing its magical charm.

Fabulous apartment with great views
Very impressed with apartment - we were a family of 4 with an 11 & 14 year old. We were in a very quiet area of Torquay and a good 20 min walk to harbour and restaurants - great base to explore and would highly recommend a visit. Keith was a very helpful and generous host and the cream tea and wine on arrival were much appreciated!
Donna and her family were a delight to have as guests and were clearly very happy together with fun and humour that I was able to be part of for a brief moment and enjoy their great holiday mood.
Stunning building and location
We were a little concerned that there didn't appear to be any recent reviews. There was no need. The apartment was as described, and more! The owner and neighbour were particularly helpful.
We frequently stay in 5 star accommodation. This apartment has a high quality finish and it's location is superb. Walking distance to a very good restaurant. We only stayed for 4 days so didn't have the time to test out any other attractions. We hope to return in the not too distant future! Thank you.
Much of the pleasure I derive from letting this very special apartment comes from the positive reviews I get from all my guests. Not all give me a written review but all experience and express the WOW factor on first arrival at the apartment and then leave at the end of their stay more than happy with their time there. I have put some effort into this endeavour and it is rewarding when my guests let me know that they have enjoyed themselves there.

Lovely apartment , great seaviews, pretty paved area to sit out in ,the apartment is clean and very well equipped, bottle of wine and cream tea on arrival was a lovely touch.
I try to give all my holday guests the best environment for a happy and memorable Devon holiday. Lovely apartment, great location!
This is a lovely modern apartment (an extension to the older house), very nicely equipped, and in a great location! Beautiful views across the lawn to the sea from the lounge/diner, and a short 20 minute walk to the town centre. We stayed as family of four (Mum Dad and 2 teenage boys) so the welcoming gift of a bottle of wine and a Devon cream tea hit the mark with all of us - a very nice touch from the owner :)
I can't recommend it highly enough - we hope to visit again before too long!
Stunning accommodation/stunning location
Excellent accommodation,really first class with everything you might need. If possible this is surpassed by the location and stunning view over Torbay. Taking breakfast on the private garden terrace on a glorious morning with such a view was truely memorable.

We, a family of mum, dad and two boys, stayed here for one week in early August 2014. The location is excellent and the property is superb, with stunning views and a beautiful terrace and garden. The quality of this accommodation only added to what was a fabulous week in a lovely part of the country. The other residents within this building were very warm and friendly, especially to our boys. Meadfoot beach is a blue flag beach about 15 minutes walk directly down from the apartment. It has a charming and enthusiastic beach cafe where teas and snacks are served plus tapas and wine on weekend evenings. From here you can walk the coastal paths east towards Babbacombe and west to Torquay. Torquay seafront is just 20 minutes walk. Shaldon and Teignmouth are about 20 minutes by car as is Paignton.
The two nearest international airports are easily reached by fast motorway connections. They are Exeter at 20 miles then Bristol 2 hours away at around 100 miles. The main railway station that serves Torquay is Newton Abbot about 20 minutes away by car while Torquay Station is 5 minutes by car; however, most trains that stop there are local. Plymouth is only 30 miles away offering travel via Brittany Ferries to northern Spain and France with luxuriously comfortable overnight crossings.
Torquay seafront and high street are about 15 minutes walking distance. The return walk is steadily uphill so is healthy but would be a bit challenging for those who are not used to exercise. There is a Co-op less than 10 minutes walk away. The Willows Shopping Centre with major stores including M&S, Next and Sainsbury's is a 10 minute drive away.

Booking Notes: Your booking is confirmed by a payment of 25% of the booking fee. The balance must be paid 6 weeks before the start of the rental. Payments by transfer can be accepted in Euro. Pets of any kind are not allowed in the apartment or grounds. Smoking is not allowed in the apartment. Changeover Day: Please note that the apartment will normally be available from 2.30 p.m. on the day of your arrival and must be vacated by 10.30 a.m. on the day of your departure. Any variation of these times must be agreed beforehand with the owner.
