Nice villa, great pool, conciencious owners
Tucked away villa 5 mins to Port de Pollensa, 5 to Pollensa. Many great beaches and nice restaurants. Easy to get taxis back.
Pool good size and space round villa great, good table tennis table. Upstairs twin bedroom with access to 2 rooftop terraces does not have a door, still private nonetheless.
Owners very helpful if a problem, would be nice if bath towels were a size bigger. Maybe a bit too much stuff in utility room, sometimes less is more.
Careful when locating villa, you'll pass 2 or 3 others with exactly the same name, follow owners directions and map.
Thanks for a great stay.
We are so grateful of your review and to know that you had a lovely stay in our villa.
We do appreciate your coments because we would like to have it better for the next time.
Many thanks, hope to see you again.
Very nice. The hosts we’re very friendly and helpful.
The villa was very clean with plenty of cooking utensils and crockery.
There was plenty of shade especially over the ping pong table for which bats and balls were provided.
Quiet location, a little tricky to find initially. Would make a good base for cycling.
5 mins by car to Port Pollensa.
We’re hoping to return again sometime.
What else? Choice of two built in barbques, shower room near to pool. Plenty of space to park cars or kick a football around.
Thank you very much Stephen for your review about the villa, we are very glad that you enjoyed your stay in Can Seguinot.
We hope to see you again sometime.
We spent 12 nights at the villa and it exceeded all our expectations.
The villa was bigger than it looked on the pictures and the rooms were clean and nice and the kitchen was very well equipped. The pool was fantastic and again much bigger than it seems on the photos. The pool was cleaned every few days by a very friendly guy who came quite early in the morning so as not to disturb anyone. Towels were also changed a couple of times during our stay.
We were met on our second day by the owners who were very friendly and helpful and we had no problems with anything in the house so never had to contact them.
The location is really quiet and down a quite remote little street about 3k from the beach. We didn't have a car so walked to the beach with our two and four-year-olds each day which took about 50 minutes.
The beach at PP was amazing and really shallow and safe for the kids. There is a Eroski supermarket about 100 yards from the main taxi rank in town which is perfect for stocking up on barbecue food and wine before taking a 5-10 minute taxi back to the villa for a swim in the pool and barbecue.
There were only two negatives that I can think of about the whole holiday and neither were connected to this villa.
Firstly, the guard dogs at a couple of nearby fincas were really aggressive on some (not all) mornings as we walked past and they would follow us behind their perimeter fence barking. It did get a bit annoying but if you have a car this would be no problem.
Secondly, the food was disappointing at most of the restaurants we ate at in PP. Tapas menus were quite limited and uninspiring compared to other parts of Spain, especially Andalucia. However on our last day we discovered a fantastic little place called Bodega Ca'n Ferra down a little street opposite the marina which restored our faith a bit and did the best paella we've ever had.
We would highly recommend this villa to anyone. We'll almost certainly be returning next year and thoroughly deserves the five-star rating!
Great Villa for a cycling trip
Spacious and tidy property, our visit was for a cycling holiday. Secure utility room to keep bikes. Plenty of outdoor space with a pool and BBQs. TV set has Eurosport to catch up with the cycling. Highly recommended. Thank you.
Fabulous, relaxing stay
We have been back just a week from this lovely villa and already want to be back there! We went as a family of four, and found the villa perfect for us. The location was quiet and peaceful, but only 5 minutes by car to the beach. The view from the lounge across the pool to the mountains was stunning and we never tired of it. The villa was clean and spacious, the pool great and much bigger than a lot of villas, and the outside space was lovely. The towels were changed a few times and the villa cleaned and beds changed whilst we were there. The owners were nice and friendly, but did not intrude on our space at all. We love this part of Majorca. We visited the market in Pollensa old town with freshly carved ham, olives, cheeses. Great for lunch is manzanas y peras in one of the squares, do a lovely fresh sharing platter. We also used al fresco deli by the beach. It has lots of fresh food like tortillas, meatballs, empanadas, coleslaws, etc. Perfect for dining in, gets great reviews on tripadvisor. We have stayed at a few villas and apartments and this was our favourite. I would really recommend it for the size, location and good owners.
Rustic, secluded, clean, great views of the mountains... cute as a button!
The villa exceeded our expectations in every way, the pics do not do it justice, plenty of outside and inside space for young and old alike.
10 mins to sea front and 10 mins to the charming old town of Pollenca and its fantastic restaurants in the old sq.
Alcudia old town also worth a visit and a bike ride! or drive up the mountains (pro cycling hire shop in Port Pollenca very helpful).
Half day trip on sailing charter also a great experience (tudor dawn yacht charters).
A VERY relaxing week and the kids loved the pool and table tennis, we loved the place and will be coming back, the Spanish owners are on hand if you need them and are lovely people.
A blissful 9 days!
Thank you very much for your comment, We are delighted you have passed a happy holiday in our villa. We hope to see you another year.
