This Apartment is close to everything as it is in the heart of Edinburgh City Centre. It is extremely close to both the train station, the bus station and also the tram stop from the airport. It is just off Multrees walk- a stones throw from St Andrews Square. It is perfect for enjoying the city all year round, but particularly well placed for the Edinburgh Festival.
It is a big, bright and spacious apartment which has two comfortable double rooms and a small double sofa bed in the sitting room. There is also a kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, and a large sitting room with a dining table that comfortably seats 6. We have TV, Wifi, a dishwasher, washing machine and a microwave. Hopefully everything you would expect to find and enable you to enjoy your Edinburgh stay.
You’ll love this apartment because of the location! As I mentioned above the tram from the airport stops in St Andrews Square, and few minutes from the door. Everything is walkable from this property. Multrees Walk, also mentioned earlier, hosts some of the smartest shopping in Edinburgh and is 30 seconds from the door, with the end of George Street and Princes Street only minutes away. These main Edinburgh streets are home to a plethora of restaurants, cafes and bars, along with more shopping!
To get to Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile it is only a short 10 minute walk across Princes Street and up the Mound- everything really is on the doorstep when you stay in this property. It is also worth mentioning that there is a large Sainsbury's just off St Andrews Square for all the grocery shopping you might need, or a small Tesco at the end of York Place (5mins walk). There is also an ATM and various banks on George Street and in St Andrews Square,
We know that a couple of bits in the flat are looking a little tired, like the kitchen which we have plans to improve, but it is really is a big, spacious, comfortable and clean property! Its the perfect place to rest your head whilst in town to enjoy our amazing city.
More than happy to make recommendations about what to do and see in the city- you just have to ask :) We know the city extremely well are a very happy to make suggestions based on your preferences.
We would like to make you aware that there is some building work taking place at the top of Elder Street/ end of Multrees Walk. This shouldn’t impact your stay but we did want to let you know. One other thing, as we are very central parking isn't the easiest so we would suggest using JustPark to potentially book a space in advance or Parkopedia to look at the various options- to be honest we would strongly advice not bringing a car as it just isn't necessary when staying in this apartment. If you want to hire a car for a day trip there is a car hire place a 5min walk from the property. Final thing to note is that we are on the second floor of the building, and as the Edinburgh Architecture is old there are no lifts in the building.
Look forward to hearing from you!
