My place is a quiet, modern, comfortable nest 2 minutes from the Domus Aurea, 5 minutes walking from the Colosseum and 15 from any City sights. It is perfect for couples and business travellers. The apartment consists of a large and sunny bedroom with a french size bed (140 cm) and a single sofa bed, a small balcony, a wide well furnished and fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a shower box and fluffy towels. It is on the first floor but seems higher as it is on the Colosseum Hill.
The apartment is in a great position. Just 3 minutes walking to the Colosseum and Domus Aurea and 5 to the Circo Massimo or San Giovanni's Basilica. The underground station is in front of the Colosseum and you can reach any other important place of the city in only 10-15 minutes. My apartment has a double access: one closer to the Colosseum, the other one useful when carrying suitcases as it is at the first floor. Recently finely renovated with parquet floor, the apartment consists of a large and sunny bedroom with a comfortable double bed, air conditioned and a digital flat TV, a wide and well furnished kitchen and a bathroom. The interiors are simple and elegant and are equipped with WiFi, washing machine, dishwasher. Bed linen and towels are provided as well. Of course you can cook in the fully equipped kitchen and you have a very nice bathroom.
The entire apartment is available for the guests. Feel free to enjoy all the different spaces.
Interaction with Guests
I will be always available for you, but if I can't be there, someone from Hostmaker will assist you at any time. They are my friends who help me out while I am away.
Not far from the Colosseum, the district is in a central area and it keeps a very relaxed atmosphere. It's not an area of trendy bars and fashionable shops, but for sure is very quiet, even if there's always people around, and offers gay-friendly bars and cheap shops, in addition to the inevitable views overlooking the ancient ruins. The famous Domus Aurea is just in the Colle Oppio Garden and the Colosseum can be seen once in the street below. S. John's Basilica and the Roman Forum are within walking distance. It is located 5 minutes walk from traditional roman restaurants and lively cafes in Monti and Celio districts, where is possible to appreciate nightlife and little fashion boutiques.
