About Jacky Nottingham
Jacky and Derek Nottingham: We were lucky enough to grow up in this beautiful area and spent many happy hours of our childhood on Maenporth beach, so we have a very strong personal attachment to the place. We treat our house like home from home and hope you will too. We are always happy to share our knowledge of the local area with our guests.
Jacky Nottingham purchased this House in 2001
Why Jacky Nottingham chose Budock
This is one of the more spacious houses on the site it sleeps up to six and is located very close to the leisure facilities at the top of the estate and there are views of the sea and coastline. We are frequent users of the property, so ensure it is always maintained to the highest standards with all modern conveniences including SKY TV including sports and movies package and BT infinity high speed broadband.

Hi Lis and Ped,
Delighted to hear you had a great holiday.
Many thanks for your kind comments.
You're welcome back any time.
The house was very well equipped, comfortable and beautifully clean. It's a fantastic location too.
Lovely house, beautiful beach, we were very lucky with the weather which helped!
We visited the nearby seal sanctuary for a day, hired sea kayaks in the bay, surfed at Gwithian (Sunset surf, great people, great cafe) and hired bikes from Elm Farm (also great people and cafe) for a beautiful cross-country ride.
Hope to visit again in the future
Great property - lovely location
Me, my partner and my 5 year old son returned from our stay here yesterday.
The place was amazing, the house itself is really nice, well equipped and comfortable. Ideal as a little home away from home.
The location is excellent with great leisure facilities a stones throw away from the front door.
The area is great too, a beautiful setting with stunning views and a really nice beach.
Loads to do in that part of the world reasonably short drives, great for families for day trips or just relaxing on the beach or strolling through the lovely town of Falmouth.
Would recommend this property to anyone and would absolutely love to return one day.
Thanks for a lovely trip
Thanks very much for your very positive comments Paul, delighted to hear that you all had a great stay at our cornish bolthole. Very best wishes
Derek and Jacky Nottingham
Superbly equipped excellent location
Tastefully furnished very high quality one of the best out of 20 properties we have rented through owners direct
lovely place- looking forward to a return trip :)
Wonderful location and house incredibly well stocked as well as excellent onsite facilities (swimming pool, sauna etc)- in particular the equipment in the shed for the pool and beach was very thoughtful and much appreciated. Had a great time and just a shame we couldn't stay for longer!!
Super accommodation and a great location
We stayed here for 2 weeks in Summer 2017.
The house is in a great position close to the leisure facilities and a short (but steep!) walk to a really good beach. We stayed with our two children (age 12 & 13) and there was plenty to do on site. The heated pool and jacuzzi are a real plus in case of poor weather or after a long walk along the coastal path, and extremely well maintained.
The house is really comfortable, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. Very well equipped kitchen and all mod cons! There is also a locked outdoor cupboard and the owners very generously allowed us to borrow all sorts of beach stuff during our stay.
We would highly recommend.
Special interest holidays:
If you enjoy walking and/or ornamental gardens this is an excellent location as there are many fine walks close by including the National trust coastal footpath, which will take you south to the Helford river, or north into Falmouth. We are also within 3 miles of the beautiful gardens at Glendurgan (National Trust) and Trebah (privately owned, but open to the public) these are spectacular tropical gardens located in side by side valleys that run down to the Helford river.
We are located on the top of the Maenporth estate overlooking the picturesque sandy Maenporth Beach and it is only a 2 minute walk down the hill to get there, but it is a very steep hill! Cars may be parked on the beach for a minimum charge to the Maenporth Beach Cafe.
It is only a 30 minute car journey to the North coast of Cornwall where there are some excellent surfing beaches too.
