About the property

A loft style apartment in a grade II listed building, this is not your typical city centre shoebox.

The apartment floor area is 90m2 and the openplan lounge/kitchen is 44m2, a huge space that is intelligently laid out to create a spacious but cosy atmosphere. The giant sofa is extremely comfortable, perfect for sprawling out after a long day, in front of the widescreen TV and Bluetooth sound system. Dining table seats 6 comfortably, and there is an additional breakfast bar for informal meals. Bedroom 1 sleeps 2 people with a new king size bed and en-suite bathroom facility. Bedroom 2 also has a double bed, wardrobe and dressing table. Both mattresses are top of the range and very comfortable!

The apartment is the perfect location in Liverpool's business quarter, just off Dale Street/Chapel Street. Area is quiet but only 2 minutes to upmarket bars/restaurants, and 5 minutes to the shops and the waterfront (museums and conference centre).

All luxury Egyptian cotton linens are provided with quality duvets & pillows. 4 sets of fluffly towels (1 flannel, hand towel & 1 bath sheet per person) are all provided with our compliments.

WiFi, High end TV and AirPlay/Bluetooth sound system, american style fridge with ice maker, washing machine, books/games, tea/coffee provided.


We can provide you with a code to allow for self check-in or will meet you at the beginning of your stay to drop off keys. We will be available by phone if you have any issues or questions.

Please note: The apartment is on the third floor and there is no working lift, so unfortunately it is not suitable for disabled guests.

Our Neighborhood;

The area around Castle Street is the up and coming area of Liverpool, with several top end bars and restaurants opening over the last 12 months including the Alchemist, Neighborhood, Bacaro, Santa Maluco and Castle Street Townhouse as well as old favourites San Carlos, Fazenda and our personal recommendations, McGuffies and Jennies bar.

Getting around;

The apartment is 5 minute walk to Liverpool ONE shopping centre, the waterfront, museums, and Castle Street bars. Moorfields train station is on next street and 10 minute walk to Liverpool Lime Street.

There is no designated parking space with the apartment. Parking is available on the street (pay and display) or in several nearby car parks, we usually use the one on Tempest Hey which is £7.50 for 24 hours. Alternatively if you prefer secure parking, there is an NCP multistorey car park on Moorfields at £17.50 a day.

About Kate

We're a newly married couple from London and North Wales. We both have our own businesses & spend a lot of time in our campervan, touring around Europe and working wherever there is WiFi and a mobile signal. The van has everything we need, but it's still a van so we use HomeAway whenever we're in a major city or it's too cold to camp.

Our experiences as guests have taught us it's little things that make a difference - fresh soap, crisp towels, a pint of milk (or even a bottle of beer!) in the fridge. As hosts, we've tried to replicate our best experiences and will always try and go the extra mile to keep our own guests happy.

This is no ordinary boxy apartment - it has true character! A grade 2 listed building with amazing features; iron door, carvings & a real history within Liverpool. The apartment has been modernized to a high spec but still kept its charm & warmth with feature brick walls, high ceilings & dramatic windows that look over Exchange flags & the town hall. It's in the quiet business district but only a few minutes walk from Matthew Street (The Cavern!), Liverpool ONE & the waterfront. A real gem!

Excellent large, well appointed, centrally located property

We stayed at Kate’s apartment for a night to celebrate a 70th birthday in Liverpool. The flat is very well appointed, huge and comfortable. It served well as a base for the city centre as it sits in a quiet business district with the city centre a few minutes walk away. I couldn’t fault Kate’s communication and instructions which were easy to follow.

When we were looking for somewhere to stay hotels in Liverpool were a crazy price for run of the mill chains. I’d highly recommend this flat over hotels any day!

Gemütliche Wohnung in einer super Innenstadtlage!

Wir waren zu zweit in dieser Wohnung und waren mit zwei Schlafzimmern und guten Betten und einem angenehmen Wohn-Essbereich sehr zufrieden. Innenstadtlage top, man kann von dort aus viel in LIV erlaufen! Manko: Drei Stockwerke mit schweren Koffern die Treppe hinauf! Ausstattung der Wohnung ausreichend, Warmwasser gab es wegen eines Defekts erst am 5. Aufenthaltstag - Kommunikation mit Vermieterin war gut, aber es dauerte halt. Da fast alle englische Wohnungen Einfachverglasung haben, zog es in der Sitzecke. Wir haben den Bluetooth-Lautsprecher häufig genutzt, funktioniert prima. Grundausstattung Tee war auch vorhanden. Insgesamt gut!
