About Mr Paul Biddick
Hi. We are a brother and sister act - born and bred within a few miles of Mevagissey. Despite us both independently moving away from our village (very unheard of) to work and experience life over the Tamar we have never ever left our roots and both always knew that we would return with our families to our beloved homeland. Ironically we both found ourselves widowed at relatively young ages. However out of heartbreak comes good and as a result we are now lucky enough to be the owners of No5 Waterfront Court & No6 Nare Court. We hope they will give you as much pleasure as they give us.

Why Mr Paul Biddick chose Mevagissey
We both so love Mevagissey. It conjures up such happy memories of family life as children. Going out on mackerel fishing trips and then going home to eat the catch. Alternatively eating fish and chips or cockles and mussels from the harbour, with gulls swiping down to take part. Mevagissey just hasn't changed. It is still one of the prettiest villages in Cornwall with its busy working harbour, bustling streets and an eclectic mix of craft & gift shops. You can hang up the car keys and within minutes dine at a variety of pubs & waterfront restaurants, sampling the fresh locally caught fish. Wake up to the clanking of the boats and watch the fishermen just outside of your bedroom window. As locals we love driving the 8 miles to stay here!

No5 Waterfront Court is on the harbourfront with its own on-site parking - a rarity in Mevagissey. The views whilst sitting in the apartment are outstanding. Watch the people buying their fish directly from the waterfront kiosk. Enjoy an early morning coffee, breathe in the harbour smell whilst listening to the chat from the local fishermen. Absolute bliss!

Convenient with lovely views of quayside and ocean helped by unexpected brilliant weather. Please fix heating it gets cold after the sun goes down.
We all had a great holiday! The penthouse was lovely. Perfect location near to shops pubs and resturants great weather so we enjoyed the beaches near to us!!

Lovely apartment in the best location
We had a lovely and relaxing time staying in this well equipped modern apartment. The luxury of being so close to the harbour, near to restaurants and pubs and having a parking space really made our stay in Mevagissey so enjoyable. The apartment was warm and welcoming when we arrived and spotlessly clean. It had everything that we needed and most of all it was nice to have the welcome pack of champers and other treats. The only constructive criticism would be that the sofa was a little uncomfortable and the living accommodation was more suited to parties of 3-4 adults max.
Stunning and well positioned apartment
A really lovely and clean, well equipped apartment. We had a great stay here and will be back. Loved that you could park next to it and then forget about the car as so many places to eat, drink and be merry in walking distance. Only comment I have is that the sofa albeit very stylish was quite uncomfortable to relax on and the bean bags are great for kids but not if 4 adults stayed. A minor issue.
Special interest holidays:
Walking is popular in this area with coastal paths leading from the village. Local artists run painting workshops and sea fishing & pleasure trips can be booked within the harbour (see owners website for further details). Fishing is permitted off the harbour wall.
The beaches of Cornwall are arguably amongst the finest in Europe. The small beach at Mevagissey (dependent on the tide) is yards from the apartment and Polstreath beach can be reached via the coastal path. Larger nearby sandy beaches include Pentewen, Gorran Haven & Portmellon. Caerhays beach is approx 5 miles away and has plenty of parking, snack shop & the bonus of Caerhays castle. World famous surfing locations can be found at Newquay which is approx 30 mins drive.

Nearest train station - St Austell: 6 miles
A car is recommended if you are intending exploring the area.
Nearest town is St Austell which is 6 miles. Truro is 15 miles & Newquay is 20 miles away. The picturesque town of Fowey can be reached by Ferry which departs from the Quayside.
Places of interest - Eden Project is 10 miles, Lost Gardens of Heligan is 3 miles.
Mevagissey has a variety of individual shops providing gifts and basic foodstuffs. The nearest superstore is at St Austell. There are a number of farm shops within the area. There is a bank at Mevagissey with limited opening hours. Cash machine within the convenience store.
