Why Martin Burns chose Epsom
This property is just 3 minutes from Ewell West station with very frequent direct services into Waterloo taking only 35 minutes. Ewell West is in zone 6 which means that it is very cost effective to travel into London. Any further outside London and train fares increase dramatically.

Just had a long weekend at the house and it was great. Clean, tidy and well equipped. 2 minutes walk to the train, shops just around the corner. Would recommend the house.
Clean and Welcoming Home
Our family booked this home for our first time visit to London. We found it to be a pleasant home home base for 3 nights. There was starter foods and a bottle of wine in the refrigerator which certainly helped us to feel welcome as we settled in. The home was clean and the beds were comfortable. We found the pictures to be accurate and had all the necessities one would need while on holiday. It was convenient to the over ground train station and co-op grocery store. The owner was easy to work with and responded quickly to my questions about the property. Pictures were accurate and the home was as described. We enjoyed our stay at this home and would it recommend to others wishing to see the London area.
Awesome and Convenient HomeAway
We loved our stay at Sunnybank House!! We arrived to a very well-maintained townhome with all the amenities one could hope for. It is clean, spacious, bright and cheery and the neighborhood felt safe.
There is a quaint train station just 3 min walk away and the local commuters were very helpful guiding us on how to use the transit system. A convenience store (Co-op) is just across the street. There is a nice local park and pub which we walked to on our first night. The bedrooms were very comfortable and quiet and my daughter especially loved sleeping in the dormered bedroom with open skylights at night. Everything felt very fresh and clean and the owner even left startup bread, butter, coffee, a few eggs etc. and a bottle of wine for our arrival! This owner was very responsive to all our inquiries prior to arrival and during our stay and went above and beyond what one would expect. We cannot wait to return to London and, if available, will definetly stay at Sunnybank House again.
Trip to London
The property was well maintained and equipped and close to a mainline station. A Useful Co-op shop almost opposite. With the property being set back from the road, there was no traffic noise at night.
Delightful and convenient
This house was perfect for our family of 6 for 1 week vacation. The house had everything we needed and the train station was only a block or 2 away. I would recommend this place to my friends and would not hesitate to rent it again.
Great place to stay outside of London
Martin is a wonderful host, providing excellent guidance to the area as well as some essentials to get the trip off right. The house is immaculate and a great location to get in and out of London.
Brighton is 45 miles away and takes less than an hour by car.
Nearest station is Ewell West (2 minutes away). Four trains an hour to Central London taking 30 mins to London Waterloo Station. Wimbledon 13 minutes, Epsom 5 minutes, Clapham Junction 20 minutes. Gatwick 35 minutes by car. Taxi cost about £40. Heathrow 45 minutes by car Taxi cost about £42.
