Nestled into the hills of Sabinallas, adjacent to a huge golf course and just a 5 minute drive to the nearest sun-kissed beach (one of very many in the area). Beaches near the apartment are easily accessed and are numerous, so are not overcrowded. Parking is easy and free. The apartment is ideally placed so you can enjoy breath-taking sunrises from the bedroom or the balcony, which boasts beautiful sea views. In the afternoon, take in the afternoon sun on our second terrace. Take a 20 minute stroll down to the beautiful port of Duquesa, renowned for a wide range of international bars and restaurants, evening markets and fishing spots, or take a short 10 minute drive to nearby villages such as Manilva, Casares or Castillo to sample authentic Spanish cuisine and authentic Spanish life. Further west, Sotogrande which boasts more beautiful beaches, and a splendid port with high end retail therapy, is a 20 minute drive, as is Gibraltar offering a taste of the UK, as well as it's own unique fare. Located near to good motorway links. Travel 10 mins east and enjoy the markets of Estepona, or the high life of Marbella. Numerous 9-18 hole golf courses within a 10km diameter. Free WIFI.

Additional items such as cot or high chair may be supplied for a small additional cost, please state needs at booking. A welcome hamper wine, tea, coffee, cakes, water and milk is included in the price. A deposit of £100 is taken prior to your arrival, and is returned as soon as any damages are excluded (usually within 24 hours of your return). Outside: The apartment is set amongst beautiful landscaped gardens. 5 Pools, one tennis court and lots of golf nearby (within minutes). The pools and court are just a one minute walk, and for the exclusive use of those staying at the Village. The pools are lovely and clean and well-maintained. It is a great place to go and relax and meet other people also staying on the complex. The apartment has a private balcony that measures approximately 20 metres squared, with dining table and chairs for four people, and a beautiful sea view and lovely balcony lights. It has a second south facing balcony, which although is not private, is often secluded and perfect for quiet afternoon relaxing, if you do not feel like going to one of the five pristine the pools. Utility Room: Washing machine, clothes horse, iron and board and additional rubbish bins. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen supplied, including beach towels. The property is cleaned thoroughly prior to guests arriving, and additional cleaning may be arranged during each stay, at additional cost. You'll find the apartment to be beautifully clean. Other: Beautiful private balcony with lovely sea view, ideal for relaxing breakfasts or lunches, or in the evenings, gaze on the idyllic lights of Manilva, as you take in a gentle evening breeze. Second terrace is south facing so you can sunbathe all day.

Lovely apartment, great location.

I really don’t think the photos do this place justice. I booked based on the write up and reviews which were spot on. Really easy booking and great communication with owners and agents. The apartment is clean, really well appointed and much bigger than it looks. Cool in the summer with added bonus of A/C.

Big balcony and the fact that the sun isnt on it all day is a bonus in the Summer as it would be too hot!

Lovely area and great pools. Car needed as no shops on site but only 5 mins to supermarket. Puerto de La Duquesa was really nice. Its a very Engish area but not in a bad way. Just easy for family holiday.

Best bar/restaurant in Duquesa- Gecko fushion Tapas.

Beaches both sides of the harbour are great- clean and toilets on the beach.

Just a lovely, easy holiday.

Large comfortable apartment in a clean, secure and well equipped complex.

We hired somewhere hoping to use it as a base to explore that part of Andalusia, it was perfect, it was only an hour or so's drive away from Ronda and Gibraltar and there's a handy guide book put together by Jo when you arrive.

There are several swimming pools on the complex which are all big, clean and manned, we found the baby pool by Block 10 especially useful.

The marina and beach down the hill in Duquesa were nice to venture down to every now and again, but it is quite a long walk (I drove).

The apartment was really clean and well presented, and well equipped, and exceeded our expectations

Apartment was very clean and well equipped. The complex was clean and tidy, we particularly appreciated the safe and cool underground parking. The pool area was great. Never overcrowded and plenty of sun beds. We didn't walk into the port area as the return walk up the hill looked too steep, however the apartment was well situated to have plenty of trips to Marbella, Puerto Banus, Estapona and Gibraltar

Lovely apartment

Karen very helpful with meeting us and helping us settle in to the apartment. A handy welcome pack left for us with tea, coffee, milk, beer, wine and little wrapped cakes which saw us through until we could get to the supermarket.

Very comfortable apartment with modern furnishings. Comfortable beds in both rooms. Both bedrooms had electric shutters which were great to block the sunlight.

Kitchen well stocked with pans etc. Dishwasher and washing machine were new and clean.

Balcony had sun until lunchtime so nice to have breakfast in the sun.

Always got sun beds at the pool; favourite pool was the biggest one.

Only downside was that the hills on the complex were steep so a tough uphill back to apartment after pool time!!!

There are no shops or cafes on site But Puerto de la Duquesa is a short car journey away. Lovely restaurants. Recommend 2 Italian restaurants overlooking the Port: Il Capitano (great Caesar salad) and Parapinos (amazing pizzas). Gibraltar was only a 20 min drive and a great day out.

Apartment beautifully furnished comfy and warm

As stated very well furnished, good heating system, beds very comfy, fully equipped kitchen, utility, and very spacious. Quiet situation in winter. Very friendly agents Mother and daughter. Helpful in every way.

Drawback was the sun had gone by 10 am. on terrace, and there are too many buildings some empty to view in front of the sea. Summer holiday best I believe. Gardens and pool looked perfect.

Amazing apartment, location great, A++

Fantastic accommodation, very clean and tidy, a perfect home from home. It was a nice surprise to have balloons and a personalised card from Jo for our birthdays on arrival (thank you).

Really wonderful eating breakfast on the balcony in the mornings with the sunshine and fantastic views of the coast. It was always great to use the underground car parking space which kept the car nice and cool.

The swimming pools were clean and well maintained, never over busy, we always found free sun loungers. A nice bonus having the ice cream van turn up there too!

Karen provided help with the shower, over the phone, which was a credit to her local knowledge of the apartment.

Karen also helped book a special meal for us which was off the beaten track, "Roman Oasis", absolutely fantastic choice, once again down to her local knowledge.

The location is perfect for visiting and exploring the various harbours and villages nearby and we managed day trips to Ronda, Gibraltar, Estapona and Puerto Banus (by night) which are all easy to get to by car. There's still lots more to explore in the area!

We are very keen to return in the near future.

Car: recommended

Special interest holidays:

We are able to cater for welcomes of special occasions for example, birthdays, anniversaries and honeymooners. Any special occasion-just let us know and we we will ensure that the apartment is specially set up to give you a very warm and memorable welcome!

We welcome Friends, Families, Children, Teenagers, Young People, Older People, but not pets (sorry!). We welcome diversity, so if you have any special needs, just let us know at enquiry. We will do our best to meet any additional needs.


Calm, sandy beaches within a 5 minute drive, with free parking, or take a 20 minute walk to the beach. There is also the scenic Port of Duquesa which is an active fishing port and there are numerous international restaurants, bars and boutiques, as well as evening markets offering unique items. The port is located between two beaches. Other nearby beaches are Sabinillas, El Castillo, Castares and Estopona, all within a 20 minute drive. Plenty of room on the beach, and easy free parking.


Malaga approximately 90km, Gibraltar approximately 25km

Car hire is highly recommended to access all the wonderful attractions


From the apartment, 60 minute drive east to Malaga, and the beautiful villages of Mijas and Ronda. 20 minute drive to Marbella and Peurto Banus where you can shop or spa; 20 minute drive to Gibraltar-more shopping and an historical experience. You can enjoy Duquesa Village, even if you don't drive.Within a 15 minute walk is The Courtyard: a small collection of restaurants, bars and deli. The nearest supermarket and Fish and Chip shop is a twenty minute walk away.

Further Details:
