We booked the cottage for New Year and had a brilliant stay. The cottage is small and cosy but had everything you need. It is in a fantastic location with a 2 minute walk into the centre of Salcombe but expect some noise at night when people are leaving the pub. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back
Thank You Sarah and family we would love to welcome you back anytime
Perfect home in a great location
As the title says.
Had a great stay here. It was nice and clean and well presented. There was enough room for the four of us (2 adults + a 6 & 7 year old) with room to spare for a week.
The location was perfect for the parking, high street and walk to the beaches.
The arrival gift was a very nice touch and the beach chairs, buckets & spades and crabbing nets saved a lot of hassle.
I’d definitely recommend this home in the beautiful town of Salcombe.
Thank you Sean
Lovely little cottage, just what we were looking for
Great cottage in a great location, the only downside was that there was nowhere to put our luggage. Apart from that, it was just what we wanted
This little cottage is cosy, well furnished and in a great location, just minutes away from the shops and restaurants.
We have just returned from a fantastic Easter Break in this great cottage. We couldn't have asked for a better location on Island Street which is just a few minutes walk to the harbour and main street and more importantly Salcombe Gin Distillery on our doorstep serving amazing cocktails!
The house is amazing and one of the cleanest properties we have ever stayed in. We fell in love with the house and Salcombe and will definitely look at returning....
Thank you Mark for being fantastic guests! Please come again
Gorgeous little cottage but noisy
Perfectly decorated with everything you need. Most dog friendly cottages in Salcombe are a little on the tired side, so it was lovely to stay somewhere that felt as good as Home! Great shower too.
Rachel who we delt with was amazing, so welcoming and accommodating (especially when we locked ourselves out!!).
The cottage is quite small so I wouldn’t recommend for anyone more than a couple with a very small child and even smaller dog! We found the space a little tight for 2 of us and a large dog, but it’s workable.
The main issue was the noise - Island Street is always buzzing with tourists, people leaving the Island Street Grill late at night or people working along the street and the cottage has very thin windows! Plus we had a lot of noise from neighbouring cottages, which we had to moan about to them in the early hours of the morning.
Overall I would recommend the cottage and most certainly the host, but beware of the limited space and bring some earplugs!
