Built with style and luxury in mind, the villa is set against the stunning backdrop of Mount Harakas. We had a lovely holiday in a beautiful location and property.
It was the perfect environment to have a peaceful and relaxing break, with everything we needed nearby.
The property and attention to details made it extra special thank you
Fabulous. Could not have asked for more!
Our first but definitely not our last villa experience!
If it weren't that we want to villa stay on a lot more Greek Islands we would most definitely return.
I have already recommended this Owner and their properties to my niece!
Beautiful and well equipped air-conditioning throughout so much space and the pool/patio/garden areas stunning and Well maintained.
Gabrielle and her family so helpful but not intrusive
Location right under the mountain and a view of the sea from the pool area.
Welcome parcel of food and supplies was beyond expectations
Collection from and return to the airport courtesy of the owner. Absolutely amazing Service
This villa is an absolute gem and we are so glad that we found it. The location is beautiful and a short walk away from two villages with shops, bakeries, restaurants, bars etc. The villa itself is perfect and it was everything we could wish for and more. It is so well equipped and had everything you could possibly want. We didn't need to go shopping straight away as there was so much food in the fridge, it was amazing, and the home made moussaka was delicious. The gardens are beautiful with lovely views of the mountains and sea. It was great having our own pool and private sun bathing area too.
Last but certainly not least was the wonderful Gaby. She is one of the loveliest people that I have ever met and genuinely so helpful, kind and caring, nothing is too much trouble for her. The world would be a better place if there were more people like her. We loved Pandora Villas so much that we have decided to go back again in a couple of months. Thank you for everything Gaby, we'll see you again soon. Barbara and Brian xx
A wonderful holiday made easier by a great host!
What can I say, this was a truly relaxing week from the moment it began. The villa itself was beautiful and the nice home cooked Moussaka from Gabriele when we first arrived was a welcome way to begin our holiday! We were assured by Gabriele that if we needed anything we had only to ask and she would provide it to us. We spent the days relaxing by the wonderful pool and nights eating all the Greek cuisine we could handle in the old village of hersonissos.
I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back in the future! So thankyou Gabriele for such a wonderful week!
A perfect holiday location and setting
We are a family of four, Ron, Moira, Joe (20) and Jenny (18). We thought this would be most likely our last holiday for a while with our kids. We could not have wished for more! The owners of the villas are lovely people and made us feel so welcome. The villas are so stylish and authentic, with comfy beds, Egyptian cotton sheets. The location was perfect, with a lovely pool. If you are looking for a tranquil holiday and wish to unwind, then this is the place for you. We can not thank you enough for your genuine hospitality and kindness. Gaby and Mano, thank you so much.......we loved the friendliness of the locals in the Tavernas in Old Hersonissos, which is a special place and just a little walk from the villas......thank you so much, it was perfect....we will be back!
Excellent Property and Host with great location.
A great place for a family stay (3 young kids). Fantastic location, view, pool and house. We were made to feel very welcome by Gabby and Manolis. The fully stocked fridge and homemade Mousaka in the oven allowed us to relax from the moment we arrived. The villa had everything we would want and Gabby provided extra little touches throughout to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Recommendations on where to go and what to see were greatly received too. The ability to walk to two lovely villages with the kids meant we were spoiled for choice if we wanted to eat and drink out. We have already given our strongest recommendation to friends and family!

On the base of the Cape Sarandaris, you'll find the amazing beach of Sarandaris Cape, maybe the nicest and mostly protected (from winds) beach in Hersonissos area. It is a sandy beach with shallow water and vivid blue colors. The beach is not too crowded plus Swimming along the rocks is a great experience, as this place is a very good choice for snorkeling. However, it surely deserves a visit. This is our favorite beach in Hersonissos area.

Old Hersonissos is located 2km away from the coastal town of Hersonissos. It is a small village that impresses the visitor due to the careful maintenance of local colors and traditions; opposite from the coastal part, it is not popular among the youngsters, because the rhythms of life and the entire atmosphere here is more traditional and somewhat reminiscent of older times.
Founded in the 5th century AD, since the locals wanted to protect themselves from pirates and other sea related dangers and threats. Hersonissos was flourishing until the 50s, when Crete became a popular tourist destination both for Greeks and foreigners. Then, Hersonissos, the coastal harbor became the epicenter of tourist and commercial interest. The two places are vastly different; Hersonissos is bustling and wild, while Old Hersonissos still follows the same quiet and calming pace of the older times.
Old Hersonissos does not have clubs and bars; there are some local taverns and stores with traditional products. It retains its traditional architecture and boasts the small and narrow alleys – the trademark of island architecture in Greece – wells and wood burning ovens, only 5 minutes walk from your Villa take some time to enjoy a glass of raki in one of the café – taverns and grasp the feeling of old Crete.
Piskopiano is a nearby village of 450 residents, almost intertwined with Koutouloufari located at the feet of Pyrgia Heights. Piskopiano was mentioned in books for the first time in 1379 as part of the Great Episcope of Hersonissos.
It is one of the surrounding villages that also features lovely cobblestone paths and narrow alleys, traditional houses with little pots with flowers on their windows, a place reflecting the traditions and beauties of old Crete, ideal for those who are not that much into the bustling nightlife of Hersonissos.
Piskopiano features an Agricultural Museum, where visitors can admire a nicely appointed collection of traditional items and products.
