Rural stone cottage with stunning outdoor spa in North Cornwall
About Tracey Souter
Having spent most of my adult life in Las Vegas learning all about the restaurant/hospitality industry i moved to London in 2005 where i met my wife and when we were lucky enough to have our daughter 2 years later we decided to leave the rat race behind and follow our dream. Tracey is a Westcountry girl so we returned to her roots and fell in love with the rugged countryside and stunning coastline of North Cornwall. We haven't looked back and feel blessed to be able to live in this magical part of the country. We have found the best possible area to fully indulge our passion, food !
Tracey Souter purchased this Cottage in 2010
Why Tracey Souter chose Launceston
The cottage sits adjacent to our home and in gardens of about 3/4 acre. We were drawn to this area for it's peaceful rural location but with easy access to amenities, beaches, rugged countryside walks and the ability to get to a bigger town if the need for retail therapy grabs you ! Bodmin Moor, steeped in history is right on our doorstep. We are also just off the A30 so the perfect location to explore further in to Cornwall or Devon, just across the border !
What makes this Cottage unique
Food is our passion. We grow our own fruit/vegetables and have daily fresh eggs from local chickens. Cornwall provides us with the best seafood/free range meat in the country and we use this to the best of our ability to appeal to our customers in a diverse exciting manner. If you want to have a self catering vacation, that's fine, the kitchen is well equipped with all mod cons. You could choose bed and breakfast and we will prepare a continental or full English breakfast using the best locally sourced produce. Alternatively we can provide occasional catering. Just contact us beforehand to discuss. We are here to make your holiday memorable.

Tracey and Mark are such lovely hosts and we can't wait to come back and visit again (with little Ollie this time:)
Lovely stay at this beautiful hidden gem!
A fabulous 3 days at Liberty Barn Cottage. A warm welcome awaited and it was just beautiful with little touches which made it perfect for a relaxing romantic short break. Mark and Tracey are perfect hosts and Mark's cooking is out of this world. Wish we could have stayed longer. Neil and nikki x
The art of relaxation
There really is something magical about Liberty Barn Cottage. Mark and Tracey were the perfect hosts and made every effort to ensure our stay was truly wonderful. The Cottage has the most warm and comfortable atmosphere and the Spa area with wooden hot tub and sauna is amazing. Mark and Tracey prepared a fabulous meal for us on our final night which really topped off a a great holiday. We will definitely be going back.

Can't wait to return again !!
This was our 5th time staying at liberty barn cottage and it never fails to impress. Mark and Tracey continue to make improvements, continue to add the little touches and always go out of their way to ensure our stay is totally relaxing and enjoyable. The spa area in the garden gets better every visit and is such an amazing addition to the cottage as is the log burner which the dogs love !!. The easiest way to tell what a great place this is, is that I've got to book way in advance now to come back ;). I couldn't recommend the cottage enough , peaceful, relaxing, with everything you'd need and in a great location for days out around Cornwall and beyond. Thanks for another great stay Mark and Tracey, we will see you again soon. Many thanks Steve and Zoe
Wow the ultimate cosy cottage. Mark and Tracey can not do enough for you. We arrived late evening to a wood burning fire, and candles lit. Ultra romantic and cosy. The spa just makes the experience perfect and great after a day or exploring.
